There’s zero evidence to suggest we are all the way there. Our first 20-30 mins need to be a lot better.As.long as theyre thinking they played poor....it doesnt matter what we think here...glad theyre seeingnit for what it is
Same amount of force mate. Bit of a tap on the face. Was TDS actually and probably worse given the other tackle was on a falling player, ao had mitigating circumstances. Was at game didn't see the penalty to let Madden tie the game was it high? Eels fans here blowing up.
Hard to drop Tino and Turuva defended well but bombed second half try.I think douiie can take right centre spot madden is playing just too well
1.bula
2. Makasini
3.may
4. Douiie
5. Tavana / Turuva
6. Laui
7. Madden
Or is the Turuva / tavana combo can't be changed ?
I’d rather Roycey on the wing at this point.Yep. Toa back, Mak on the wing and Luke L left right out
One of the things I wished for over the past few years was to have a squad who hurt their opposition. I want teams to go “damn, the Tigers game is next”. It seems we are getting there. The Eels got smashed today physically. We hurt them.
They'll remember this game.
Nursing their wounds for days after this.
Wow … at what point do we file a grievance against this bloke ?Surprise surprises it was Ash KLOWN 🤡 in the bunker
That's right, we don't normally win these ones. Has the tide finally turned???We don't win these games.
Something is brewing.
I’m wondering if there is some way we can medically retire Luai 😏Only option. Gonna be fuming if benji drops Madden as soon as Luai is fit.
Disagree they were up against it. I don't agree with the sin bin and it was undoubtedly the biggest call of the game but outside of that I thought we got the overwhelming majority of decisions fall our way. Eels had players dropping left right and centre and were forced into multiple reshuffles of their backline. If anything I would argue Eels were up against it.Just the resilience .they were up against it that game .
I think it was fair. If it happened to us, we'd expect the same. They always say injury shouldn't be a factor, but they lost a player for the match.Just on LL's sin-bin; clearly the injury decided the punishment there?
The explanation was an act with a high risk of injury - so you're now saying every tackle in the air should be a sin-bin?
Very unfortunate and wish Simonsson a speedy recovery, but that's no sin-bin unless they all are now.
Been saying it all year. This squad is different. We don't win these games.
Something is brewing.
Yeah man, you and me both. One of the things I wished for over the past few years was to have a squad who hurt their opposition. I want teams to go “damn, the Tigers game is next”. It seems we are getting there. The Eels got smashed today physically.
Actually realised they scored more trys then us. Like to unable to tear apart a team with 3 injuries in the backs . Plus Moses was clearly hampered by injury we should won comfortablyDisagree they were up against it. I don't agree with the sin bin and it was undoubtedly the biggest call of the game but outside of that I thought we got the overwhelming majority of decisions fall our way. Eels had players dropping left right and centre and were forced into multiple reshuffles of their backline. If anything I would argue Eels were up against it.
Yes the bin was a big and in my opinion poor call. But need to react better to adversity. We were running downhill before it so can't blame being gassed during that 10 minutes. It was one reshuffle to the backline for 10 minutes compared to the 4 different ones they had to make.
I reckon he will be our 14.Only option. Gonna be fuming if benji drops Madden as soon as Luai is fit.
