Benji's press conference pulls our pants down.

Basically said we got the rub of the green and got lucky..

Idk, maybe he's saying that to tell the team we need to work harder to win the next game, but man, honestly I don't think we are overreacting here. .

Ciraldo on the other hand sounds as smug as Ivan but without the success. I value that he likes his fitness, follow game plan etc.. but this game is also skill based, you need to let your players with skill shine and he seems more like Jason Taylor to me..

The forwards were getting dominated most of the time. Terrell tried hard. Latu was too slow out of hooker, he doesnt pick the ball up and pass in one motion - he picks it up, looks, then passes. That extra second gives the defence an extra metre or two to press up on our attack.

I dont see this season ending as we had hoped after 7 rounds.

Atleast none of them are long term. It was a tough win, our defense was immense.

Api, Bula and Makisini hadn’t played for weeks and were fairly rusty and I believe we played all of the 2nd half with a 2 man bench … I think we drop the panthers game but are huge changes in the Titans / Dolphins game

He was correct on that I reckon and Benji agreed.
It is a ridiculous rule that you can perform a charge down and then run into the still raised leg and be penalised.
Luai also had zero problem with it as he didn’t remonstrate at all and chased him all the way to the line.
Not surprised to see you sook about it though lol….very predictable.
 
Dogs were up for that game and had more to lose, they also got plenty of 6 agains, we did a massive amount of defence, especially in our red zone

Dogs were up for that game and had more to lose, they also got plenty of 6 agains, we did a massive amount of defence, especially in our red zone and came up with some epic defence to keep them out after multiple repeat sets in the last 5 mins. During the game we had maka out injured, sione out HIA and Twal out injured, players playing out of position and forwards playing long minutes to cover....i think they showed how fit they actually are, plenty went against them and they kept turning up. Two of the dogs trys were just sheer will and bad tackles by seyfarth, and the galvin one was questionable. It should never have got that close.

Anyone else at the game get annoyed that we dont show the replay of the opposition trys at the ground? Happened at the Broncos game too from memory. It gets covered up by advertising for the next game. Would be good to see what happened.

Yeah I think it was deliberate and poor by the game day operations. Not sure if anyone would listen if a complaint was made but it was classless. Surely there’s other moments in the match to show promos and sponsors

Didn’t we loose a game for Papalii charge down made contact with the leg, shot missed and they got a penalty right in front?

I don’t like it - but every other kicker in the game gets a piggy back off it, so I have no problem getting the rub for once.

Moses has almost made a career off it

Agreed. As a paying customer, I found it frustrating that we couldn’t watch a replay. It’s pretty petty to be honest - it’s not like it is going to change anything

Its not the rub, its a pretty black and white rule....whilst i dont agree, especially if its incidental thems the rules. If they didnt score than they get away with it...ref should have noticed it immediately and called a penalty, instead he gives a try.
