TEAM LIST Vs Panthers [Round 14]

Team List
haha just mentally prepping for Sunday . It got me thinking about some of our all time great losses.

I remember going out for lunch with my grandparents. The tigers were playing the raiders and were up 24-10 at halftime. By the time we got home and they had lost 30-24.

Which reminds me of another game vs Raiders in 2015 @ Leichardt. Tigers were up 22-12 at halftime and lost that one 30-22.
Ok you can stop with that now! We’ve had a few go the other way at times also, think positive! Lol

Really tough ask for Charlie Murray here. Coming in to a pack with no Twal or Sam against a red hot Panthers pack and side. If he can do well that will say a lot.

I have been of the belief he is capable of being one of those low budget unheralded guys that can really contribute to a teams success. I had him starting the season at 13 with Twal in the front row, thats how confident I was. With the way the game is, a smaller, mobile 13 who works hard and can ball play is very important and Murray ticks those boxes.

Whatever he produces on Sunday, expect that to improve significantly if he ever got a chance with a full strength pack. Obviously I mean Sam back, Twal front row and Pole to the bench.
I know some very good judges with a similar opinion so I'm looking forward to seeing what he produces. Haven't seen enough of him myself to have an opinion either way.

I note we’ve eased in the betting ( again) for Sunday’s game. Panthers now into $1.20 and we are out to $4.60, I think that probably sums it up.
I’ve looked through our squad and can’t see J.C mentioned anywhere, so a miracle most unlikely.
Following week v Titans we are $1.32 faves v
Unfortunately we can't even get the J.C. bit right Hal. A quick peruse of the panthers interchange reveals that he is playing for Penrith this weekend... Jack Cogger (J.C). that is! Sorry mate. Just couldn't help myself.

Anyone giving us a chance? Last week was nice, but let's be real, the Bulldogs are kind of a stinky team. They did play well, nowhere on Penrith's level though. I'd give us a chance if we were full strength, in fact I'd back us. Panthers almost at full strength (only missing Kenny), while we are still without Twal, Doueihi, Samuela, Taylan - these guys are our best players, and they are clearly missed as we have been poor without them.

Cleary and Yeo also had the week off so will be fit and firing. Panthers still won last week without them.

They’re levels above everyone this year. All clubs have to take their medicine against them at some point. Nothing is impossible, but this is pretty damn close. The fact they could dismantle the team coming second without Cleary and co is very ominous.
