Luai saved our arse on numerous occasions last week with his D or we don't win that game. We are as much of a reality check for him about playing in a bottom club compared to a top club, as we were in thinking he could make the difference we needed to get out of the doldrums.
 
LOL…. 12 tries, a shut out and 2300 run meters with 600+ PCMs, 15 line breaks and 55 tackle breaks against the team who beat the Bulldogs last week - a team who done the Storm the week previous.
If any side beats Penrith to the title this year, it’ll be a great victory.

Fair enough he bullied school kids because he was bigger than them but he has not looked capable, pretty much at all against men. Even when we were winning he was ordinary.

Perhaps that's the catalyst for buying Averillo?

I agree though. He needs time to develop into a mans body...still a child for all intents and purposes.

Not NRL standard yet.
 
What's really disappointing, again, is the first 7 rounds for us.....it was such a different team and to actually give the supporter base that and then dish out 4 games of this is just deflating.

I also hate the direction the NRL has taken the game, certainly over the last decade. There's been a lot of blowouts this year, a lot, it's not good.

There's been 2 games so far where teams have scored 60+, 6 games of 50+, 19 games of 40+ (we managed 2 of those)........it's only round 14 as well.
