What does Latu need to do to get a start?
Also, any news on why Luai isn't named? must be an injury for Benji to not pick him, maybe explains his lack of involvement last week?

Maybe he got a head knock in 2nd half sometime, I'm only guessing...

He did cop a knock late in the 2nd half.

Every week this year we lose more players than we gain back. It’s so frustrating

The question needs to be asked IMO - Why is Latu not given the 6 this week with Laui out.

He is supposed to be the next big thing but keeps getting the red light for some reason. 6 is the perfect spot for him IMO and AD can control the team so just doesn't make sense

I know I find it so strange others get to start but not Latu and if he's not starting play him in Reggie's and give Andrews the bench spot

So is latu fit? Or madden better.
Remember latu was only available for full minutes for the last 2 games last year. And now Jock is ahead of him.

I would worry more about our terrible forward pack and Makasini, who can't defend at centre and is slow

I can see some justification for Madden over Latu but also see the argument for putting Latu in there.

For Madden- he is a relatively experienced player now- WT don't have a huge number in the team, he would be back up kicker to Doueihi, good tactical sense etc.

For Latu- he needs to be able to have a go in the main team and show where he is at- remembering contract thinking now. Playing on the interchange or in Reserves doesnt really help.

We should know not to believe 100% this will be the run out side. Very possible Tavana comes in for Makasini, most likely Afoa starts for Pole and hopefully Latu starts at 6 with Madden on bench. No need to blow any gaskets until 4:30pm final team submission on Saturday.

I keep hearing how better he is than Galvin, and keeping him was a blessing in disguise. He’s not really getting a chance to show that. One of the few games he’s been given the chance, he blew the Roosters away
