not many NRL sides go well without well established halves, certainly not with a questionable forward pack (see Raiders / Sanders this year).

The perception of the club was the problem pre-Luai. The whole reason for the clauses as confirmed by Luai.

You’re missing my point. We get murdered in the press every year, that creates a perception among players, and others in the game (refereeing controversy anyone). Losing only adds to that.
