OFFICIAL Adam Doueihi #227

How did it get to this point?

Purely AD? They mighten be able to control his decisions but they should be able to influence them, for the clubs benefit.

What happened that made him change his mind so dramatically?

Does this happen at other clubs?
Lomax left Dragons , didn’t want to play wing.

Then he left Parra. To play rugby.

Some people just make poor decisions.

There is more to this than AD been asked to play lock . I said a couple of weeks ago that luai and AD had words on the field . Has this argument got out of hand, and AD has seen this as a chance to get out of his low contract , and get a bigger pay day .
I might be barking up the wrong tree , but I think there’s more to this than playing lock .
Same difference , it’s all about AD wanting more for AD because he wants what Luai has and it’s nothing to do with what’s good for the club. AD had this as leverage and he stuffed up .. got his ego mixed up with his value

Of course there is, its either one of two things. First Douehi has issues with things or players at the club. Or he is just getting terrible advise by Isaac. In either case you play and sort it out later.
If its as is being claimed Douehi has done this to finally fix the club, i cant wait for him to release all the gritty details after hes released, if he is. Otherwise if we release him and he doesnt expose anything, how exactly has he helped to fix the club he loves.

This - as some people have already mentioned - is - as always - about money. AD’s management has obviously found more money for his client elsewhere - which is suppose to not happen but does, and that’s their job to do just that.
Then earlier this week, there was obviously whispers/writing on the wall/actual conversation that Adam would not be a starting half vs Canberra. We then hear that certain media types have heard on Wednesday that something was already afoot - a plan has been hatched. Then Thursday happens. Key reporting was the erratic behaviour that AD clearly demonstrated - the heated conversations, driving around Concord Oval supposedly - all leading to the CEO suggesting time away, and even post game comments by the coach that AD wasn’t in the right head space to play. This is a key detail - mental health struggles are real but also very hard to ever question. This is the same playbook AD’s manager used with another client citing ‘bullying’ claims - struggles with mental health, which have disappeared the moment a release was granted. So, clearly all of this week’s actions and subsequent reporting was done so struggles of mental health could clearly be strong case made for AD not to be held to his current contract, freeing him to sign elsewhere for much more money then his currently on. I would also like to state I hope that it doesn’t seem like I’m making light of mental health struggles, as I suffer and I’m sure they are more prevalent in league players then ever mentioned - but I feel that this key detail common to some the recent dramas at the club is worth pointing out.

There is I said in here the other week AD had words with Luai over a comment Luai made about money

And I posted that before all this AD stuff happened it was the same guy who told me about LL before it happened

I also said heard a few things about Luai but that wasn't very nice so I won't repeat that

Is it coincidence that douhei also had media commitments this week with SEN? He didnt seem off in that interview.
Well, apart from calling Javon "Lachie" (at around the 11.15 min mark on the SEN video) and alerting us to the fact that he, "Lachie" & Benji will be talking about how they'll fit in together, nothing alarming at all.

Spot on, but if the board hadnt been touched then Richo would still be running things, this would never have happened in the first place. If Luai decided to go to P.N.G Richo would have been all over it in the background making sure this garbage didnt happen. As it is. We have an inexperienced boardroom ( no league experience ), an inexperienced coach, an inexperianced gm of football and our CEO who seems like a great guy and really really lovely who cares about the fans, though is also inexperianced in league. We have no leadership from the top down who know how to handle issues like this and it just looks like Isaac is having a field day atm.
Can't see Richo copping a walk out and giving him leave to "get his head right".

Any release will have a clause to ensure there is no disparagement of the club, same as when Galvin left and very common for payouts...

It got to this point because AD didnt take his medicine, play lock, then have a chat with benji on monday behind closed doors. Joey, Filter and Slater summed it up perfectly if you haven't seen that exert yet.

It was always happening the gun was loaded and being asked to play lock was just pulling the trigger

It was not about playing lock this goes back to Luai going to PNG and before and that what it sounded like was Moses started all of this and got into AD'S ear

It really does suck this is happening.
I like Doueihi, but damn pretty harsh not to play on the weekend.
There are so many people who would love to of had a chance to play first grade or hoping they can.
Not a good look, will see what pans out.
I don't know how he comes back to play for the club
