For support and $, surely they would prefer big clubs such as us, Dogs, Dragons and Broncos in the finals.

Imagine the crowd we could get if we made it.

Api of all ppl knows u dont get away with knocking the ball out of the dummy half's hans...there are other ways to do it
And the decoy rules,whislt at times unfair,are tranparent and consistent.We all undrstand what they are
.So we needed to run in at a tighter angle rather than target the defenders outside shoulder
Its not that difficult
Cld have won that game too,,but it showcased some of the dumb mistakes that have been plagiuing us all season

For the decoy run, as Benji explained, Pole ran at the inside shoulder of Luki who was the defender they were targeting (and May ran to the outside of him).

In a defensive line, someones inside shoulder will always be another defenders outside shoulder.

The rule needs to be tweaked, if the blocked defender has no chance of reaching the attacker then it's try time, use common sense.

Not sure I agree with that...youve really gotta run outside every potential defenders' outside shoulder to not be seen as impeeding .
It was tuly harsh,and Im in no doubt opposition teams when they see they are going to be beaten in that situation reposition themselves to fully leverage the rule to their advantage.Defender was done cold
Having said that..if it was WTs defending ..wed go straight to "try confirmed"then an ad break!!!
Am truly disappointed that Benji is not on top of this stuff,particularly when the prevailing winds are against you with the refs.
Explains a lot as to where we are..know tries are hard to get for us,but gotta make them stick

..at Leichardt or Campbelltown?Were totally out of favor..boss needs to re engage with VLandys

Yeah, its one of the teams biggest weaknesses so hopefully with our new centres (May & Avi) and an improving Sakura things are looking better both in attack and defensively.

When you consider how we have held our own in other parts of the game (especially the ruck) over the past two weeks, next year does have some hope.

Thats the real issue...we cant convert numerous opportunities
Madden has attributes in straightening the attack,and a modest kicking game,but is not the complete answer..
Nor .Luai,unless he wants to have a crack like he did against the Titans,.Only time since PNG signing
.Hes a disgrace at the $$ were paying him..he has the ability to impact the result but chooses to hand the ball off all the time ..then says "walk in my shoes."well ,..a lot will at $1.2 mill pa
Cant get rid of this materialistic $$ driven imposter fast enough,whilst constantly in the ears of others

Im with you...but understand it gets a little subjective when someone has to decide whether "defender has no chance ofreaching the attacker"..its so difficult to adjudicate
Its a tough one and possibly prefer clear parameters which dont leave discretion in the hands of the somewhat biased refs/bunkers
It will end up against us either way!!

I’m counting down the seconds.
I’ve hated pretty much every minute that clown has been with us.
I’ll be popping champagne next Sunday night, just annoyed we have to wait a full week still….

I know it might be difficult at times, but putting dudes in the bunker with half a brain would be a good start

How many times have you seen the replay and thought there's no way he could get across, flat footed, forward vs back or just plain too far away from the scorer.

The May try got taken off us because Pole ran into Drinkwater, nothing more. That was a really poor read by the Cowboys defense and if pole had a bit more awareness it would have been given

It doesn’t matter if he did anyway . Miakele had left the ruck with the ball . Once that happened it stopped being potential ruck interference and became stripping . As it was a one on one tackle the only possible outcome logically to justify the call was api knocked it on somehow . Which should have been a scrum at the other end .
It wasn’t that the Calle as wrong , it’s that it wasn’t even applicable to the game situation . They might as well have been allying the 40/20 rule . Thats how completely irrelevant the Call was.
The video refs need to be pissed off . Klein and and his dopey mate should never ever be allowed to officiate on any games where their name isn’t attached .
The nrl needs to hire 6 guys fulltime as bunker refs each officiating 2 games with the 6th as spare . Obviously as it’s only 18 next year the spare is 2 .
The issue is much like Klein having 400k debt that never gets talked about for some crazy reason , the nrl media are a bunch of shills and morally bankrupt tards .

Pretty sure the rule is you have to run at the inside shoulder so that the defender can release to defend on the outside. Additionally Wayne Bennett raised exactly the same thing earlier this year or last year , re he ran the inside shoulder then has to be on the outside shoulder of the next defender further from the break

He was gutless for 25 rounds. A bit late in the season to vent when it's pointless. Season is well and truly over and has been for at least 7 weeks.
