No . I don’t need to . I rewatched them at the time , and that was my summation . I’m no AD hater. Far from it. Just calling a spade a spade. Latu will be 22 and Javon 20. By years end that’s where the club will firmly be headed , as long as Javon works on his contact and wrestle as well as has. If offseason in the weights room.
I’d honestly be happy with brooks / Latu for a year or 2 to give Javon the time to get his body right .
Benji was right to move AD out of the halves .

IMO we didnt need to put Sione on an edge, that was just a poor coaching decision. We had better options. Even Seyfarth on an edge is better than Sione. I rate sione as having a huge ceiling as a middle. He hits aggressively and his carries are very effective. Another player I believe Benji has handled poorly. The list is growing.

Hypothetically if we signed Fletcher Hunt for 2028 and beyond and the Knights decided to release him for 2027, what would be your starting backline if all players were available?

Latu is a lock for 6 or 7. As it stands he only plays 6 if Benji wants a game manager to fill in for 12 month in Madden or if we sign someone. Then the questions comes is Javon ready? Does AD play as a running 6? A lot to olay out here in the halves. Personally, if im in charge and we have no signings, im getting a lot of reps in Madden Latu and Javon with all 3 playing left and right. My dream is to partner Latu on the left with Sam, but it will come down to how Javon can handle playing mostly right. As limited as Madden is, I would be tempted to give him the 7 for next year, Latu plays 6 on the left and Javon play on the right in KOE cup.

Sione is ok as a middle ..off the bench would be my preference… not as an edge option though….

He did not play very well in round 21 against the Raiders because he refused to play. That's it for me and a lot of others that have played teams sports. See you, Adam. I hope he never dons our guernsey again.

God i laugh at this stuff. Those who want Adam at 7 just refuse to see the bigger picture. I will answer your question, the answer will be what you have heard many times but refuse to acknowledge. Adam Doueihi did play well in those game as a footballer, as an individual footballer. He did not play well in those games as a 7, a 7 that needs to compliment everyone around him, a 7 that kicks well, a 7 that game manages and controls tempo, a 7 that plays straight. He failed at all the key things a 7 needs to bring to a team. Failed miserably. When he tucks the ball under his arm and runs hard he is great.

We got a glimpse of this partnership in our NSW Cup game against Manly this year and those two looked like strawberries & cream pardon the pun lol yes the opposition were poor though.

That is why I think Latu has to start at 7 next season. He either has the goods or he wil need to fight it out with Javon for the 6. We can't afford to try and manufacture a 7 out of LAtu if he hasn't got it in him. From what I have seen he has; it is just that we went down this road before and it did not end well.

Off season and first shot at 7 has to be Latu and if he isn't ebing mentored by one of the recently retired 7s now we need to get onto it quick smart.

He played 6 in those games despite wearing 7

I consider those games he played closer to the edge very good

Is thqr clear and understood ?
