I buy a dozen tee shirts for $90.!Blocker and Sirro guided me to Lowes...!
But to the point, once ensconced in Newcastle as they are in a nice house at half Sydney $$,its really hard to move to Syd long term
Will see what we get out of him next year
Not a terrible signing at all..but wish we had added some young established first graders in our recruit mix..like other teams at the bottom of the table are doing.We seem to be just propping up the existing mediocrity with worn out 1st graders..this will be Frizells 17th season
Wld be wonderful to develop the galaxy of junior talent in our backyard ,but beyond the capability of current coaching and pathways management it seems

A whole nrl off season will go a long way to determining this . It will be up to them I guess . Put in , eat right , train hard , pay attention and there’s an nrl contract in your horizon . And in Schusters case , a really low chance of nrl stardom . Don’t put in and it’s driving forklifts for Linfox . Not that there’s anything wrong with that .

Both are crap, however my theory is our rubbish defence puts pressure on our attack. They have no confidence they can defend back to back sets, so they play very conservative in attack so we dont make errors.

I think it's the opposite. In so many matches we were right in it, had opportunities in the opposition half and did less than bugger all. The repeated inability to turn possession into points made our heads drop and then one counter attack from our opponents would lead to 3-4 tries in 15 minutes. If we could score more often when we were on top we might have made the finals

Very true not being able to apply score board pressure was a big problem

And no shape what so ever the opposition defence would have been happy just an easy training run for them conserves there energy to attack us
