Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

If walker goes to the dogs IMO they will destroy their cap . 1.5m for walker is insane IMO. He doesn’t play for the roosters he doesn’t even get talked about in the same league he’s in . Teddy , marky mark even DCE were the fulcrum of that team . Their basic attacking structures were bang it up the middle and kick out to their giant wingers .
I’m not really a fan of his . I think he’s a bit of a nepo baby.

It’s rumoured the Salary Cap increase in 28 will be significant. Minimum 15 million but there’s been figures thrown around like 18-20 mil. This would make 1.5mil contracts sound a little less insane tbh …

But I agree, I don’t think Walker has the temperament that you could build a club around. The roosters have had a stacked roster for years and it wasn’t until DCE come along that they finally went to the next level

Both wingers gone next year and they did so much work hard to replace

I liked the way Aho debuted, should be looking to hang onto him, useful stint 1st up.

I wouldn't mind Vaka Aho as number 29 or 30 in our roster. Very professional, good defensively, big in effort areas, decent tank, leg speed & has ball skills. Has improved year on year through his development and now 23. Will flourish off a full pre-season. He'll be in our top 17 in future I'll predict.

More tellingly to that point is the fact that they are so easy to let him walk . All this bullshit “roosters way” nonsense . If he was worth it , uncle nick would pay it . He got teddy for 1 mil when the cap was less than 10 mil . Who knows what apartments and jobs for life for family members Teddy was promised .
