    Luke Brooks

800k is probably a fairer value for Brooks in my opinion, but I'd still rather have him stay at 900k than leave.

    Moses Mbye’s first question

Mbye can play other positions to some degree, but he's only ever truly looked like a great player at fullback. If he plays at fullback he'll become one of our most dangerous players. If he plays anywhere else he'll be average. Surprised this is even up for debate to be honest. Can't wait to see...

    Luke Brooks

I somewhat agree. His attacking game hasn't really gotten better, people just notice him more now. I honestly expected him to be more dominant than he is currently (kind of like how he is in Origin). But defensively he's improved a fair bit I would say.

Not sure what your contention is, I agree with you. I was saying we shouldn't waste money on Dufty. Prop should be our number one priority.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

What makes you think he'd be any good? They tried for years at the Dogs to make him a half and he was average as hell. Moved him to fullback and his first season he looked much more dangerous. I just don't get it to be honest. If we lose Brooks I'd still keep him at 1\. Better to have one great...

Mbye tried 6 and failed. He looks great at fullback so I wouldn't move him. Dufty has pace but not much else. Absolutely no ball playing ability.

Yeah I heard something similar about Teddy in late 2016.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

If you guys think we'll do any better with a guy like Shaun Johnson running our team you're dreaming. He's a player who is frequently cited as having potentially the highest ceiling in the game for a half and he's 28 with one final series to his name. He's never realising that potential. Brooks...

    2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Happy with Maguire but really hope we don't give up Cleary easily. Either some serious financial compensation or a player or two. Otherwise this doesn't set a good precedent.

He feels he can be the main man’: Wests Tigers to see the best of Luke Brooks, says Benji Marshall

^ Are you saying Brooks plays better with Farah? Because there's a lot of evidence to dispute that…

Benji Marshall re-watched all his 2018 games before deciding his future with Tigers

Brooks has only played consistently well with a proven first grade player next to him (Anasta and Benji). Realistically, who would've played 6 if not Benji? Reynolds only played a handful of games this year so we would've had Gamble. Does anybody honestly believe he would've done well next to...

    Luke Brooks

Really hope he signs before the end of the year but that might be hoping for too much. Think he'll test himself on the market, but seems like most clubs have a halfback handy so hopefully his price doesn't get too inflated.

    Marshall and Farah

Biggest problem I've seen with these two recently is that Farah keeps giving the ball to Benji rather than Brooks. Fair enough for long kicking but when we need to make an attacking play we need the ball in Brooks' hands. Other than that, I think they've been good and we can't blame them for...

    Same old Tigers

Seems like nothing's changed. Season on the line and we revert back to the Tigers of old, not trying to build pressure but trying to score off every play. And when we weren't trying to score, we couldn't even hold the damn ball. Very sour end to what was a promising year.

    3 2 1

Made the most metres out of all the forwards, including most post-contact metres. Scored a try. Didn't realize he missed so many tackles, maybe should've given him a 1 but he was good.

    3 2 1

3 Mbye 2 Chee Kam 1 Farah Brooks, Matulino, Nofo also deserve a mention. Definitely lucky to get away with that one though, some poor defence on the edges almost lost it for us. Had Tapine as MOTM.

    Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

Yeah if he was just doing what was best for his son he could just let him stay at Penrith. Sounds like he's already asked for a release and has been denied. And all leading up to our semi-annual Raiders flogging. I dare say we'll get 60 put on us.

    Luke Brooks

My fault, I really only looked at teams higher than us on the ladder. You're clearly not weighing the relative strength of teams properly. Cronk has looked only ok in a star studded side. Thurston has had an off year in a forward pack with Jason Taumalolo. Johnson has been good when he's been...

    Luke Brooks

Brooks has been our best player this year by quite a stretch. Anybody thinking we should get rid of him just as he's starting to come good has no idea. Can somebody name me these halfbacks that are in abundance that are so much better than Brooks? Looking at the ladder I can only see arguments...
