There is no way I can see IC remaining here until the end of his contract.
He is a fraud and unbelievably selfish. His top priority is not the club he is coaching at or the players busting their arse for him. His number one priority is his son. So much so that he is willing to rubbish his reputation, break a contact, return to an organisation that sacked him and be micro managed by sociopath just to coach his precious son….
Yes this!
Agree with this too. If true, he’s essentially throwing away everything he’s worked towards at the Tigers, just to coach his son. It’s kind of ridiculous when you put it like that.. Tbh I don’t think it’s the best idea to coach your own son/family member at that level, for many reasons. Has the potential to seriously backfire.. If that’s any consolation to us if he actually goes through with it.

I love the standards on this forum - thank you.
But can we have a 2 hour window where anything goes?? I think it’s needed?
Oooobhhhh yeeeaahhh

Let’s do it anyway !
They can’t ban the entire forum
You go first !
No, but Kul or I can shut the forum down until people cool off.
@ said:Would love old Harry to pop his head up and take on the Cleary contract. Pay him and honour it but do not release him. Meanwhile sign another coach for next season
@ said:@ said:Reading between the lines on Pascoe's comments Ivan asked for a release yesterday. Great that we are saying No, but how are players going to show commitment to a coach that wanted to walk out on them.
After reading Pascoes comments and how much emphasis he put on fighting and retaining Ivan, I'm thinking that this thing maybe more than just headlines. I'm starting to think that it could get ugly and potentially some precedence set in respect to approaching coaches.
Or maybe Greenberg and the NRL will just continue to ignore the actions of some of the bigger clubs.
@ said:@ said:i think we say no to a release, so penrith have to get another coach, and as soon as they appoint a new coach we sack ivan, thats the way to fix a traitor. then he misses out on his precious son all round. sorry but really angry, with whats happening just when things start to look a bit better we get knocked down again.
The moment Cleary became available Gus would sign him and sack the new coach. Gus doesn’t care.
@ said:Ivan is probably thinking we are a basket case and his son will not fulfill his potential here. He is better of at Penrith and he will be the fall guy . Sad but he just wants what is best for his son

Stuff asking Harry! Ashfield runs non for profit all proceeds into football. My name says my old ties, but Ashfield worked so hard for their power, by hell or high water they better flex their financial might to keep the ship on course, or we are no better than the old tug-o-war days.
Blow the coaching staff cap and pay the tariffs! There will never be a bigger moment to show we are ready to tango with the heavyweights! This spotlight we didnt ask for, but we can leverage for an emphatic rebirth.
