Makasini kicks goals, but was at a low percentage while attending school. But took them anyway. When he becomes the fulltime athlete he will have time to be coached and fine tune his goal kicking skills. This should lead to a much better kicking percentage IMO. Fingers crossed my wish comes true?

I don't agree his Cup games have been that impressive. Did OK; but not a stand out. Just on 18yrs. so lets not push him too much. Tóa going OK, just a bit slow compared to opposition centres. Good 15m out, not 50m. Give Mak. a shot at right centre another 3-4 games for a better assessment.

Makasini kicks goals, just not enough. But with time to practice I'm sure he would improve. The pressure to kick goals with all eyes watching him is not a problem, just needs more coaching 'n practice.

I would like to see Mak. trialled as right centre in KOE for a few more games to see how adjusts; in attack and defence; with the hope he outperforms what Tóa is giving us. But not rush him, still a babe!

Does an injured arm stop him running? NO. Just not fast enough or slow to anticipate gaps or hit top speed before getting the ball? Meh

Did everyone notice the speed of the Penrith backline tonight, especially their centres. Tóa would have been caught almost instantly. Can't waite for May and Makasini to show some speed and set up their wingers, fullback.

Mason to fullback, Naden to 5/8, Mapapalangi to centre. Hunt returns. Peter Taa'teo on extended bench back from a couple of weeks suspension. Still can't believe Mason at fullback? But they persist. I must be missing something because I just can't see a quality fullback in him ever emerging...
