I recall, back in the day, Wests would have talented country kids on “scholarship” at St Greg’s. They’d get their education courtesy of us, get to play in Peter Mulholland’s crack schoolboy team, get plenty of TV attention and then head off to - Souths, Easts, St George, Norths or Canterbury etc...
