But seriously I look at the Canterbury NRL squad and I don’t see where these forty five extra recruitment/talent scouts are making a huge difference. Outside the Penrith guys they are predominantly either local juniors or other teams offcuts.

It is a “huge juggle”. Trouble is we’ve been spraying the balls all over the shop for a decade and a half. Penrith on the other hand lose players because they just keep winning those pesky premierships and either the salary cap, or champion players standing in the way forces some to move on ...
