LIVE GAME Round 16 v Raiders

I agree with most of that. I would say he is pretty elite in play the ball speed, though. Playing for the tigers, we're always under the pump with no time when we receive the ball yet he still creates a quick play the ball. Other wingers around the league have the great benefit of momentum from...

LIVE GAME Round 16 v Raiders

We lack killer instinct. When actually competing for the game we go into our shell in attack. When we're down by too much we play decent football direct and fast. Then trying to get the go ahead try it's all this hesitation and sideways movement and passivity in our running. Doueihi...

If you rate TDS you sign him instead of Api. I don't think the club does.

    Stefano Utoikamanu #241

Yeah, and what is even more surprising is that he's producing this mediocre form in mostly dominant displays by the Melbourne team where they have the momentum. He at least looked like he was top shelf on the rare occasion we weren't being dominated at the Tigers, and you'd expect that just...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

And my last ABC related post (I was in the garden today) is that carayannis also said that while there's been no deal yet, that Bud was definitely not coming back to the tigers. People asking about the Jonah Glover rumour...I posted earlier that carayannis had said today that we were after him...

    LIVE GAME Round 15 spoilers

The ABC only mentioned Galvin's poor last tackle kicking, sounded like he didn't have much impact. Also sounded like a lot of inside passes and a few dodgy cut out balls.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Hey I actually have a rumour for the rumour thread, hope that's okay??? Carayannis on ABC said in response to a listener question that we're firmly after Jonah Glover from St George. Anyone know much about him? He also reported they see Latu as more of a lock, hence why looking at Reynolds...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Tigers are recruiting really well. If Taylan works out that's pretty much the backline sorted. What the club needs now is hard working strong defensive players for depth. A hard working defensive prop would be particularly useful. Doesn't have to be fancy.

    State of Origin 2025

Keon is much better than Stefano if you're not picking May because he plays for us. Stefano has done nothing and there'd be a half dozen props in better form than him for NSW. Oh well, we all saw it coming.

    OFFICIAL Taylan "Tiny" May #301

AD seems nothing like a lock to me. He has just about the world's slowest play the ball, seems to have lost a lot of strength and is not a strong tackler. Most locks, even the little ones, are hard running, strong players. I think we all like doueihi but if May works out he shouldn't be in...

    OFFICIAL Taylan "Tiny" May #301

It's a good signing. All this chat about whether he's up to it or if he'll stay out of trouble. But he's on a train and trial, literally bare minimum. We can't go wrong. If it all blows up then he gets released and we move on. Which other centre is available to sign to join us right now?

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Big mobile young second rower who is a 1st grade starter in NRL on a team that has a decent forward pack. I think it's a really smart signing and he's an obvious upgrade to Seyfarth. He's the sort of solid dependable player that the Storm would be interested in. He may not always flash like he...

TEAM LIST Round 14 vs Panthers

I like Adel's idea on the Wests tigers life podcast of trying API at 13 and TDS at hooker. I think attack wise Api would play that role well. Perhaps bring talyn on after 20 or 30 and play him for the rest. I feel we stifle our attack by playing very limited attacking big men like Twal in that...

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

What did he say? Ciraldo is a good leader and the bulldogs work hard? How is that criticising the Tigers except through some implied suggestion? He's telling a Dogs PR person that he thinks the coach is good and the players work hard.

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

What he said was so harmless and generic that it's not even worth considering. Barbs directed at the Tigers? Not really, but I'm sure he'll eventually have plenty. What he said in that was very bland compliments towards his new club. My criticism of him for that is he seems to have that Luke...

LIVE GAME Round 13 v Cowboys

Also, not saying it's his fault, but is there any game we've ever played that screams Benji Marshall more than this? This is vintage Benji 2006-2013: look terrible and totally out of it only to produce miraculous comeback and then fall just short and lose it in the end... Benji must be running...

LIVE GAME Round 13 v Cowboys

Bird was terrible in his first spell, played a much better 13 role in his second. Do we keep buying dumb ill disciplined players or do we make our players dumb and ill disciplined? Sukkar looks a player. Cant see anything that puts seyfarth in front of him. Mason was a classic 5/8 but I wonder...

LIVE GAME Round 13 v Cowboys

We're talking how sin bins stuffed us, the scoreline with 13 v 13 and how a few injuries and 50/50 calls didn't go out way... We've done this before. The game is won when you face adversity and respond to it. Every team has their share of it, not every team concedes heaps of tries when down a...
