Ours is similar. We have kids that step in at other clubs & those that stay see us not miss a beat. Another loss, another spoon.

If he was contracted for years, hold him to it. He can go to rugby, but can’t play NRL elsewhere until that contract is up. Are we sure that Lee & Pascoe don’t work in an advisory capacity

Good clubs sign their youngsters to long term contracts, let them develop and bring them through when others leave which helps balance the salary cap. We let the blokes coming through go, lose the good first graders we have and then are forced to blood kids that aren’t ready. The good ones...
