We really missed Toa in defence. They played pretty well for most of the game. Bit messy in second half but we still won. Happy with that.

It’s way harder to kick fg’s these days with no blockers. They tried to run the same play they did against Dolphins but sharks were on to it, so they deflected to Luai but the chase was good.

The major difference now is that he gets early ball in 1v1s. I always rated him and just thought he had shot halves inside him. Probably true, but when they said he was playing injured for a while it made sense.

The only difference is now that the leadership group and coach are Polynesian. It’s only just starting to happen where this is the case. I used to hear people say you can’t win a comp with Polynesian halves, which is obviously rediculous.
