Let's not forget how he paraded himself in an Auckland Blues shirt mid way thru a season with Wests Tigers. And then he floundered in the Yawnion game in NZ. He's got history of making bad decisions.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

https://www.melbournestorm.com.au/news/2020/12/07/statement-brandon-smith/ Just posted on the Storm website. They are letting Brandon Smith explore options for 2022. This could be a good move for us? Perhaps hints that the Storm see Harry Grant as the successor to Cam Smith. (and no shock...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I understood MBye was being paid in the region of $900k. The last 2 seasons the Dogs have tipped in $175k of that - 2021 is the first year we pay the entire salary out of our own cap. Thats how I understood the arrangement to be.

Lets hope Moses is really really upset and really wants to leave. Be the icing on the cake following on from Josh flying the coop. Problem with Mbye is he is contracted thru to 2022... and that would mean possibly funding 2 years of his contract.

I like the idea of Adam at 5/8th. I think he fits right into the middle of park quite well. From a standing start he has pace, but lacks top speed running, which as 5/8th is sufficient. He is comfortable in the middle - he played his best football in the middle. I like him there.

100% - Completely agree with this statement. I get players want to get more money, that's the way of the world. But I too have a horrid taste in my mouth of the meme Josh posted on Insta which was riduculing the club position, and Lee Hag's comments.

    Leagues clubs amalgamation complete

Now the amalgamation is complete, does anyone know when the share details will be updated, and the board shuffled? Has anyone heard anything? Formal ASIC records still displaying 25% Balmain, 75% Wests, and the board is still listed as 1x Indy, 5x Wests and 2x Balmain. Its supposed to change...

Go talk to the bloke. His story is a brilliant one. He is the first person to pick holes in the various stories around what happened. My other favourite is about Keith Moon in the Cavern club! He's an interesting character.

    Leagues clubs amalgamation complete

The NRL has nothing to do with operations. So as majority shareholder, I expect Wests Ashfield will invite those independent directors. We obviously already have Lee from Brydens. Will be interesting who the 2 newbies are who will be invited.

    Leagues clubs amalgamation complete

Ok. Maybe we should tidy up the names on the Wests Tigers board to perhaps read "Appointed by Balmain" or "Appointed by Wests Ashfeld. And yes, the Deed of Amalgamation between Ashfield and Balmain Leagues clubs lists how the new board make up will be. The Deed is still publically available on...

    Benji Marshall #70

Mine is a very unpopular opinion when it comes to Benji. First up, I think Benji will go down in Wests Tigers history as one of, if not the, best players we have had. But, I'm not held up on the romance of Benji and having to keep him out of "loyalty". This is professional sports, and...

    Leagues clubs amalgamation complete

Yes its off wiki. I wrote the wiki entry for this. It's sourced from the current ASIC registry. I've bothered to research to ensure accuracy. Cross checked with information available publically on the Wests Magpies website, which confirmed in someway what this all means. Mick Liubinskas, Tony...
