I don't think he's shown what he can genuinely do in these situations. looks startled or nervous which is affecting execution. his kicking game in the lower grades has been pinpoint in years' past. you don't lose that.

while I think we should do everything we can to retain Tallyn, I do agree. Haywood has proven his quality at Flegg level and is just about ready to step up to Cup, irrespective of what goes on with Tallyn. if Tallyn does leave though, we're going to need to give him the entirety of 2026 in...

I don't think so. Tallyn's got every right to test the market and see what teams will offer him from a salary standpoint, plus to see what teams would offer him the starting 9 role. Tartak and Richardson have a great working relationship as well.

these things take time mate. Galvingate and Richardson's holiday would've slowed negotiations even further. also have to remember that KPP was always going to go back to Newcastle so they could have last refusal. it does seem as if it'll be all tied up within days though.

Barry Toohey (Newcastle's mouthpiece) reporting WT's offer to Kai Pearce-Paul is $600,000 a season. very, very happy with that given what it costs for a premier backrower in today's market.

he's hampering us on the field as much as he is off it. it's time to park Jarome and Latu either side of the ruck with Bula sweeping both sides and Jack Bird starting at 13. back to basics.

Pearce-Paul’s playing too heavy up in Newcastle. compare his frame to how he was in England and it looks as if he’s carrying about 5-7kg too much. I think he’s going to benefit from a change.

will probably be in the frame 2027 pending on how he grows. he doesn't necessarily look out of place in Flegg at the moment, but is clearly a 17-year-old playing in an U/21 competition. needs a few first grade preseasons and another growth spurt, which I think he's due to have. he looks like a...
