We do have to remember that Sukkar, Sam Fainu are still Flegg eligible this year and Kit, Tallyn, Mason for this yr and next and Luke still eligible for 26 and 27.
Your best Flegg eligible players usually aren't playing Flegg unless they are 18
Dogs up 24-4 after 60 minutes but honestly Tigers haven't been that bad - Dogs have converted every opportunity and bounce of the ball into tries while Tigers have been just short or kicked just cm long in the same positions.
Score not a true reflection of the performance but probably Dogs had...
Because the teams he plays in win be it on the bench or in the halves they win.
Plus he offers great utility value - the perfect 14 in nrl and a great option as halves backup
If we lost a 35 yr old Api in 2027 would be fine for us and great for him. Gives Tallyn the opportunity and Haywood coming through. No issue with it for all parties if it happens
Its interesting isn't it that if a player stays in Flegg and stars we would think he is a star of the future but a player the same age who has played almost exlclusively NSW cup or NRL for the last 2 years we all (including me) think he is done. Mayby its just part of his development although I...
Imo it's forwards we need
I would be happy to fill the backs with what we have at the club swapping Naden for Makasini and re-sign Doeuhi, Staines.
Would leave 1 spot in the backs too see what is needed or who performs like Mapapalangi
What I would like is 3 forwards added
My only issue with Mason at five eight is that he has no kicking game and with Laui not having an exceptional kicking game we really lack kicking options with Mason at 5/8
