My point being you said it was a reasonable offer, I don't believe the reported $550K is reasonable if he can get $700K or $800K elsewhere. He may have been happy to take a lower than market offer, but it seems we lowballed him. Hence my point, we shall see, if he gets the $800K or you are right...

In the article is says essentially, SMH believes "the Tigers board approved a three-year extension offer to be tabled to Brooks". So does that mean the Tigers offered Brooks a 3 year deal for a little over $1M, if so that's disgraceful, they shouldn't have put such a low offer forward at all...
