My concern with Douehi in the halves is his lack of acceleration particularly in defence. I don't know if he is suitable for lock but certainly does have ball playing ability, can tackle and reads the play well all of which part of the modern locks DNA.

Defence wise I thought Brooks went okay, but my view is our middle don't always move up and slide Slide in defence thus causing panick and poor decisions outside.

Mate I am a Brooks fan but he had a shocker. It certainly wasn't all his fault but I don't think him and Doueihi seem to work together. Maybe a change is the answer.

With respect Lauren lack of valour or courage has nothing to do with confidence. Courage is UNCONDITIONAL whereas confidence depends on the situation on hand.

Seriously Luke Brookes has played over 150 NRL games and you assert he "LACKS VALOUR" my understanding of word valour means courage. With respect Lauren if you believe anyone who has played 150 games of NRL lacks courage you havE no idea what it takes to play at this level.

That's a good question Happy, but is it any worse than our existing problem of slow lumbering, slow between the ears middle forwards we currently use with (for the lack of a better word) "Super Sub" in Moses Mbye. Cheers

I tend to agree with you mate, probably a good halfback but not the second best in the NRL currently. I thought he was one of our best yesterday in a poor side with no support when he run on our left, and when he went right he ran at an angle then straightened up and then would pass to Doueihi...
