I can remember Canterbury fans from the old days i.e 60s and 70s. They were good people like fans of Wests, Balmain and Newtown at the same time. The demographic changes to that whole area out to Bankstown and beyond have led to the current situation where some of their fans behave atrociously...

I agree. I thought the PR stuff out of Canterbury through the week was low-rent and arrogant in the extreme. It might have been better had we not given them the khod or whatever it's called but there was provocation. Some of the Canterbury fans, male and female, are disgusting.

Agree that few of the players would get a pass mark. I just think Payne has had his chances and hasn't been able to get at least fair results. We definitely need better players too.

I’m gutted for our women. They don’t deserve the total lack of support they’ve had from our club. We were busting a gut to get into the NRLW and then we don’t give it 100%. Shame on our club.

The halftime score is a total embarrassment. They’ve been better in the past few weeks but surely this is Payne’s death warrant.

I really feel for these women as I feel they’ve been let down by the club on two counts. First, the club has not recruited well and expects these women to compete against the best of the NRLW. Second, Noddy is a champion bloke but I don’t think he’s anywhere near capable of coaching at this level.

It's a shame the season is 3 or 4 games too short. The team has performed really well since Shane Sultana took over as coach. He did a good job with Balmain's Ball team too. I wonder if he'd be ready for a step up to our KOE side or whether he'd serve WT better coaching Flegg.

Not always. If DB was being judged by results most om this forum (me included) would have got rid of him years ago. But my point was to focus on the totally unreasonable and totally superficial focus on DB's hairstyle and musical ability. Your comment was irrelevant.
