Nobody should be. The subject that is being argued (by some) is whether Wests Magpies are to blame. There are people who should be blamed e.g Pascoe, Lee H but there a quite a few others along the way. I can't see how Wests are to blame any more than you'd blame Balmain

If the legend is true he occasionally refused to leave the wickets when given out on the basis that people came to the ground to see him bat not to see umpires give him out.. Might explain some of his scores.

Clearly, we don't have the cattle. A couple of our imports are under-performing i.e Bird and Hunt and we have too many borderline NRL players in the starting side e.g Sukkar, Seyfarth and Twal. We don't have enough quality juniors who are close to being NRL-ready but we have some who are 2 - 3...

Backs OK but only two genuine NRL starters in the forwards in Api and May. We cannot and will not win this game and Titans could easily put 40 or 50 on us despite them sitting in last place. Surely the WT powers-that-be can see the futility in fielding a side this poor.

I wish I shared your optimism mate. Apart from Morris, who has some coaching credentials, our coaches are rank novices. I like them all as former great players of our club but I haven’t seen any evidence of good coaching all year. We need an influx of around 6 quality players but we won’t get them.

Exactly. Our forwards are rubbish and have been for years. May and Api are genuine NRL standard but the rest are either marginal NRL level e.g Twal or KOE level e.g Sukkar. That’s the brutal truth.
