Yeah I agree this grade should be focusing on development. But a gun 17 year old kid who has been playing left centre all his junior career would benefit from developing his game against men in the position he is familiar with in my opinion. At least to begin with.

Unfortunately common sense doesn't always prevail when it comes to positional changes for our Cup team. Definitely agree that Makasini at left centre is the play here.

One of the most pleasing things from Makasini was his ability to land on his front and deliver a quick play the ball which we could play off the back of. 2.12 seconds according to stats. Taylan 1.88 seconds for play the ball speed too, but half the amount of runs.

I feel the same. I have hated match ups against the chooks for over a decade and never expect to win against them, but I just feel like we match up really well today (even without Api, Luai and Bula). Win incoming....Tigers 13+

I actually feel like Hunts last 2 games in Cup have been quite good. He had a good start to the year but dropped off a cliff quickly in NRL when we demanded more from him (asking him to start). I was keen on it at the time. But it is clear that if he returns to NRL it is clearly a minimal...

Just hasn't shown that he can make that extra step. The right call to not keep him on beyond 2025. Good luck to him!
