You cannot just pay players an extra 100k above what you believe their true value is. If the word got out about that happening, every player would be putting their hand out.

I would assume so and if could mean the club sees him as a 800k per season player, not a 900k per season player just yet.

Bula can activate his own extension with us at 800k per season if he really loves the club and wants to stay. By him not doing that the club knows where they stand with him.

Would you prefer a forward pack full of players who run the ball hard, make a couple of good tackles per game l, but are gassed after 20mins ? I am continually amazed how so many people disregard players with a strong work ethic and believe a team full of high impact low work ethic players will do.

So he didn’t have the ability to build and coach a team that could win the South Sydney A Grade competition in 2025, but we are trusting him to build and coach a team good enough to play finals in NSW Cup ? Let’s hope there is more to him than his resume suggests.

First step is to work out if we are extending Bula at 900k possibly more as he becomes a genuine marquee player at that price. Very hard to know if he’s ready to be a genuine marquee player or not, I say I doubt it, plenty of others say he’s ready.
