OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

What did he say? Ciraldo is a good leader and the bulldogs work hard? How is that criticising the Tigers except through some implied suggestion? He's telling a Dogs PR person that he thinks the coach is good and the players work hard.

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

What he said was so harmless and generic that it's not even worth considering. Barbs directed at the Tigers? Not really, but I'm sure he'll eventually have plenty. What he said in that was very bland compliments towards his new club. My criticism of him for that is he seems to have that Luke...

LIVE GAME Round 13 v Cowboys

Also, not saying it's his fault, but is there any game we've ever played that screams Benji Marshall more than this? This is vintage Benji 2006-2013: look terrible and totally out of it only to produce miraculous comeback and then fall just short and lose it in the end... Benji must be running...

LIVE GAME Round 13 v Cowboys

Bird was terrible in his first spell, played a much better 13 role in his second. Do we keep buying dumb ill disciplined players or do we make our players dumb and ill disciplined? Sukkar looks a player. Cant see anything that puts seyfarth in front of him. Mason was a classic 5/8 but I wonder...

LIVE GAME Round 13 v Cowboys

We're talking how sin bins stuffed us, the scoreline with 13 v 13 and how a few injuries and 50/50 calls didn't go out way... We've done this before. The game is won when you face adversity and respond to it. Every team has their share of it, not every team concedes heaps of tries when down a...

    OFFICIAL Jersey Flegg Cup

I saw Shaq as a high school player, he absolutely dominated that level. Any further reports on how he went? Good kid.

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Galvin has great fitness and enthusiasm and that impossible to coach instinct to throw the cut out ball or to take the player on at the right time. He is far more assured than Brooks ever was. Even out of form this year, he's a lot better than Brooks just in his willingness to take the game on...

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Not to go too far into conspiracy land but he also is very deferential to Gould going back to when Gould coached him at the Roosters. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch that Gould pushed for his inclusion and made it known to Galvin that he was getting such opportunity because of his connections.

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Yeah, I see your point. I just think he could have anticipated all this. It was obvious last year he wasn't re-signing. And why offer a million dollar contract if he is so difficult? My guess is that they rate him so highly and think he's so important that they kept playing him and chasing him...

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I'd prefer Galvin to leave rather than have him on a 5 year million dollar contract before he's proven anything. But he does have incredible potential. Like most on here I'm not sure his future is in the halves, but he also doesn't have the strength or defense for the forwards yet. I'm excited...

But I love the new name! Given your record, seyfarth is as good as gone.

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Weidler has had a go at Moses in the past. Given that, his sympathy for Moses and Galvin means it's not too hard to see that the fact he backed Galvin and Moses from the start of all this suggests that the deal with the dogs has been done for a while. He's Gould's man. You could see that in the...

OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Feel like @Tucker has been pretty consistent in his opinion. I think maybe Galvin went better than he initially expected but all this criticism of his opinions just seems like bitterness about the Galvin situation and wanting everyone to be bagging him. I don't agree with the club's backflip on...

LIVE GAME Round 12 chat *spoilers*

Parra have had some really impressive periods in games lately. They play with speed and have really threatening backline movements when in gear. Lots of progress from the start of the year.

LIVE GAME Round 12 chat *spoilers*

I created this thread just to have a rant around referees. 16 mins left in the second half, Doggies rushing to get back from a dolphins break. The markers are offside near the tryline but make the tackle anyway. Do they spend 15 minutes video reviewing checking every minute details? Do they...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

You'd also think Benji's coaching style, in apparently letting player's play, would really suit an experienced and creative player like Reynolds. I don't like Reynolds announcing it though, that usually suggests a player looking to put his price up at another club. But I really like the idea...

    OFFICIAL Terrell May #296

It's really disappointing Stef being picked in the squad before May. I sometimes wonder if it's just our bias and whether we overrate our own players, but looking at the impact of both players on a match for us and May just adds so much to our defensive intensity and attitude, along with all the...

LIVE GAME Round 10 v Storm

It was interesting the passivity of our play after we had a good first set. Watching paps play and not really competing. Attacking movements were flat with everyone looking around, no one running on. Defensive sets usually started with decent effort in the tackle, but then 2nd and 3rd tackle...

    OFFICIAL Terrell May #296

I can understand people preferencing the more experienced origin props over May, but people talking about Stefano as an option are blind. I don't see anything in his game that stands out above average NRL prop. In fact, given he is a weak defender (not in missed tackles but in his lack of...
