If other teams see him as an upgrade on what they have in a spine position then we absolutely could get a trade that nets us a decent player. If you can upgrade your spine even slightly and all it costs you is depth then you do it.

I'm sure anyone would. Unfortunately I think the more likely trade with Canberra might be Liddle for an outside back that isn't getting much of a run - someone like Xavier Savage. There are plenty of teams that could use some help at hooker, I think shopping Liddle is a pretty good idea. Teams...

Get back to hard right? They have never been hard right and hopefully they never will be. Excessively pandering to either extreme of the political spectrum is a good way to lose the entire middle.

I was answering a question, not setting an economic strategy for the country. It was just an example of how spending money can get a country out of debt (or avoid future indebtedness). Another example would be the fiscal stimulus during the pandemic: debt was being accrued in order to stave off...

You use government spending to grow and inflate the economy as was done (or at least as occurred) in the post-WW2 period.

Public sector wages are only one part of the budget and they have been suppressed (in NSW at least) with wage increase caps for a long time. Cost of living is going to increase regardless of government policy due to external factors and that's going to bite on public sector workers. You may...

Yes and I did not say it did. Nor did I say that someone going to university meant that they were smarter than people who did not, nor that not going to university meant that somebody wasn't smart. I responded to his stupid comment that said people who go to University are "closed-minded...

Yeah I'm sure all those university-educated engineers, doctors, actuaries and the like are all "completely closed minded, indoctrinated and dangerous". Idiotic anti-intellectualism at its finest...

I'm surprised he doesn't have more offers at that kind of price. Good business for a guy averaging ~90m and 36 tackles a game shortly after making the switch to 2nd row.

10/10 for the messenger but it's about a 3/10 for the news on the recruitment front. Not much to get excited about. Hopgood seems like a decent target.

NRLW to get its first Transgender player next season -Updated

There are so few people that fall into that category that they wouldn't be able to form a comp, so they just end up getting excluded and missing out. Plus it would just leave them feeling ostracised and different (which they don't need any extra help with). People who are actually transgender...

NRLW to get its first Transgender player next season -Updated

No, I look at data and try to make some assessment of whether there is actually an issue or whether things are being blown completely out of proportion. There is a small transgender population of which a small percentage will have an interest in playing the sport at any level. At the competitive...

That is about as pissant as your last response. Whatever. I don't find the topic of any particular interest, much less sparring with you. You go on continuing to get your panties in a twist about this issue that has absolutely no impact on your life.

I don't see why they wouldn't have Schuster and Olakau'atu as the starting 2nd rowers. I don't see Tuilagi being the player Schuster is.

That would be fantastic but I don't see it happening. They've got Schuster signed through to 2024 and aren't exactly flush with depth in the 2nd row, plus he's good depth at 5/8 (in fact he'd be better than Foran at 5/8, hence he's cracked it).

TEAM LIST KOE NSW Cup Round 8 v Dragons..

Peachey at 5/8 is a strange move, would rather see him at centre given that's where he might actually be able to improve the NRL team (assuming he can find some form).

Got no substance? Accuse the other person of being naive. The purest of pissant responses.

It's the fact he has rheumatoid arthritis that probably explains some of his injuries in the past and his heightened risk of injury going forward. I can understand why teams are balking at three years given his injury risk. I otherwise think he'd be handy as a player, although I'd probably leave...

NRLW to get its first Transgender player next season -Updated

If that ever happens then maybe complain about it then? Given how low the transgender population is as a whole it seems pretty unlikely your daughter would ever play with or against a transgender athlete in any given sport. It's not like a flock of men are suddenly going to redefine their...
