if you can afford it the helicopter ride to grand canyon is pretty cool. They fly you and land in canyon and then fly.back over the vegas strip. Much better than the bus tours.

Vegas is awesome Belagio is a great hotel, that time of year not too much more expensive than Excalibur etc. I probably wouldn't necessarily go when nrl is on as Freemont st (minus nrl360 etc) is awesome with flying fox and local casinos and mob museum is pretty cool worth a visit
