"First Look" At $40M Leichhardt Oval Revamp.

Both our upgrades seem a bit like our attitude to our wnrl....quite half hearted but i inderstand we are limited by funding.
Beggars cant be choosers and.compared to other teams we really are beggars.
IF....if we ever become a top 4 team the home ground advantage will mean nothing for us as it has in the past

The scale is disappointing. Not creating much new space, the new stand will be the same size as the old one, just shinier. The North end really needs a roof.
40 million isn't enough, but for phase one it's a decent start.
Why do we need 4 women's change rooms? Surely 4 change rooms total is enough.
Nice that most of the trees will survive, but the stands are all just too small. Too much wasted space.

The north end originally had a roof in the original design but now it’s gone. Shame really.

Making it smaller is disappointing could easily wrap it around and then leave the hill exposed and make it a proper stadium, as others said new stadiums need minimum 25,000 capacity, Campbelltown needs a redo also but yer overall waste of money on the new design just goes to show lots of people with positions of power are not actually that smart......

Only issue I have with the redesign (outside of removing the roof on the new northern stand which isn't a good move, though would save money, is the section I've outlined at the centre of the main stand. Looks like it is going to push a lot of long time fans out of their old seating positions for likely either corporate or media.
