Agree with you EXCEPT he is exactly the player we desperately need.

All you have to do is work your way through our top 29 + development + pathways players and see the yawning halves gap you find. We have just three (yep 3) genuine halves and that includes big D (who in my opinion is a centre) and Smith who is not eligible for 1st grade until round 11.

Definitely lacking in that area when you spread out our top 29 plus pathways players into playing positions. We seem to be overloaded in forwards and back line but have very little coverage in genuine (not manufactured) 5/8 and 1/2 posies.
