It could be he comes under the veteran allowance which is included in development cap. Debuted in 2016 and was signed on a 3 year contract that year so would have been top30 from then - 10 years as a top 30 player and he can be signed as a veteran.

That was when Balmain was actually contributing financially - why would they take on a basket case like Balmain who would be contributing nothing. As i said earlier why would they want to link up with either Balmain or Wests - both have been total failures for the last 13 years.

I would have no qualms with Campbelltown taking over the licence but why on earth would you think they would want Balmain or Wests anywhere near the place.

Thats not true. If you go back over this whole ridiculous rantathon there were quite a number of people calling for the tigers to hook up with any number of other clubs and drop the Wests.

i didn't see that reported anywhere - just another figment of that posters imagination i would think. I do believe he reminded them of who controls the licence and the ramifications if you rock the boat too much.
