Man, I try to give Taylor the benefit of the doubt but playing ET at hooker weakens two positions. It's not like he has a coaching strategy either.

The Storm are playing much better than when we faced them earlier this year. As long we're still in it around the 70 minute mark then I can cop a loss. Bottom line is their defence will win it for them because their tackling technique is 10x better (and 5x dirtier) than ours.

I think what Taylor has been trying to instill in the boys is that when things aren't going your way and passes aren't sticking, you need to revert back to the one-out and bomb structure to minimise the points the opposition can score until you can swing momentum back you way. With that said...

I wouldn't call JAC big, he looks the same size as Moses which is why I think his kick returns are so ineffective. He's got a lot of upside but all he really offers at the moment is pace which I think we already have with Simona, Teddy, Moses, Brooks. Nofo's not as slow as some make it out on...

Always rated the guy so he's going about as well as I expected him to. Adds a lot to our team in both attack and defence. Need to get him a on a longer contract for sure.

I've definitely noticed an improvement in Lovett, he slowly seems to be adapting. The real test will be to see if he keeps this up towards the back end of the year when the grind starts setting in.

While I was initially gutted about losing Taupau, in hindsight it's allowed us to get Grant and ET, along with a few other random signings, which have bolstered our team more than one player could have so I'm happy with that.

I don't think Benji is as bad as some of you are making out. He came equal 2nd in the Dally M's last year almost purely on the back of his game management. He proved last year he can kick and stick to the basics well. No flash whatsoever. And $350k is really not much for an experienced half...

I think the biggest problem is his defense when our line is being attacked. There's just no reason to rush up, made easy pickings for GI, who could've even run through that massive hole himself instead of giving it to Nielson. Still, can't be too mad. Always makes critical runs out of our own...
