If Hunt is moved on, IMO ------Saukuru @ 115kg, 21 yrs, could easily replace Hunts split 20 min. cameos in the second row. With the option of wing. Scores a lot of tries in both positions. Knows the way to the line.
Agree, I've only seen average performances so far.
No where near the hype he gets; but never seen him at 5/8 or 1/2 other than cameo appearances trying to string two games together. Hope the hype eventuates sometime soon.
Stuck behind a couple of top centres.
Time to look elsewhere eg. WT. Sure to get a run there!
If the price is right, he's an upgrade. We need upgrades we can afford.
Someone said he is faster than Makasini and Luke L.
And at 115kg and 185cm [6ft 1 inch] age 21 yrs, scoring tries every week. I'm sure he could fit in.
To be an ABOVE average 1/2 you need to have SPEED and/or A STEP [and IQ].
Galvin lacks all those so IMO will just be an average 1/2.
Not spectacular but not too bad.
HaHa. Hunt on for 10 min. 5 min. with the ball, 5min. in defence. Waste of a bench spot for 10 min.
We need an upgrade. And if May on 50 min. he needs needs to hit the line with speed, more impact.
I see Roberts next year as a prop.
A quote from Wayne Bennett "you can lose any player, - as long as you are upgrading"
How appropriate.
Seyfarth a top club man, but upgradeable.
Hunt, just not enough output, upgradeable
To'a, say no more.
I would rather spend the afternoon watching the Jersey Flegg and the KOE at Lidcombe for $5.
And watch the NRL on TV. But that's just me! But I see your point.
I see Roberts as a big hard to stop prop with an off-load.
I hope we extend his contract. I thought he showed promise in his NRL debut.
However, I think he is a bit slow as a second rower IMO. Just looking into my crystal ball.
Haywood has potential------just like many hookers before him. Not proven yet. Has to earn it 1st.
We can't put all our eggs in that one basket. Injury, poached other ambitions?
We can hedge our bets with a proven hooker if he puts his head down and ticks all the boxes.
QLD have speed in their forwards and quick PTB's. This keeps the momentum flowing.
I can't recall Terrell ever providing a quick bustling run followed by a quick PTB. He is not suited to SOO.
Stay with the TIGERS.
The other point of note was QLD usually had 3 forwards defending in each tackle...
