I get all the hate for Toa. I’m there as well. He was playing at SOO level only this time last year. Was our best edge player at the time. How a year can change things and yes a contract extension. The guy was immense in attack when he was on and fit. I hope the injury(s) doesn’t cruel / end his career. I’m guessing he’s playing bustard and knows it’s almost over. For me he’s confidence man in the best sense. But clearly broken physically (and then mentally). We’ve seen miracles - just take a look at Douhie. Will be interesting to see if he can play consistent FG ever again. And if not, I think it’s very unfortunate

If Benji is consistent on standards if he doesn’t improve then he won’t.
Toa has been bog ordinary in all games played this year in all grades. Showing zero effort - he has been playing totally disinterested.

You always sound like a reasonable punter JT, and i like your logic, but I think we are well under our correct price for Saturday.
I’m seriously considering having one of my rare footy bets on the Dogs, purely because I was impressed with their win last week and the $2.40 appeals to me.
NB This is a purely financial decision and happy if I’m wrong.

On monday I took the $1.80 tigers
I wanted another piece of it bit didnt want to take $1.58
I threw in the women's nsw soo to add a bit of value to get us up to $1.99
if we can't beat dogs then we can forget the season in my opinion
I think our forwards plough down the field and absolutely dominate field position like we were playing in the early rounds.
Api back should help Madden too
I think melbourne were disgraceful in the forwards last week absolutely pathetic, most other teams wouldnt have given dogs a look in I think

the selection of To'a at 19 means he's dropped down the list of preferred centres. May, Makasini and Turuva are all preferred. Maka and Tino are really wingers. Shows the lack of quality centres in the squad.
To'a is there to cover injury to outside backs and hopefully won't be needed.
A mistake was made extending him until 2028.
