He’s done what Justin Holbrook has done with Newcastle, taking them from wooden spooners to contenders in one season. Quite impressive from both coaches.
Lol we are suckers for a slogan at WT though I can’t put Richo in this category as he didn’t really bail on us, but rather was forced out by the powers that be.
Good question, you’d think a first grade league player would know how to defend properly, but as we’ve seen many times over that’s just not the case. Hence, we have defensive coaches!
Got me thinking Luai’s actions are very similar to that of Ivan Cleary. All the hooha about coming aboard the bus for the long haul then ditching us 18 months in - very similar action, very similar tailspin effect on the club. Maybe Ivan sent Jarome over to do a repeat performance on us...
Oh no it would only be celebrated. What an achievement that would be, grasping the spoon out of the hand of the team that lost 15 games straight and had little to no chance of closing the gap from the bottom of the table. Bloody marvellous!
A club/team that is continually imploding and making history for all the wrong reasons is somehow interesting and appealing to prople. It’s like those women who write love letters to serial killers in gaol pledging their devotion to them - people are weird.
