I would have said the same thing - look like Makasini to play left centre!

Not sure. My guess would be Patrick Herbert as he's played first grade before and backline would not need to be shuffled at all.

Apparently he's picked up a small injury. Not sure what, but he was seperated from main training group today.

They also published a story from the editor, Steve Crawley where he said he wasn't buying it. Galvin hogged the ball when Burton was set up to take it. Don't read too much into these stories - wouldn't surprise me if they deliberately write 1 good, 1 bad to get both audiences and stir up some...

Unfortunately the cowboys lost and will be dead keen to get off the mark against us now.

They are saying out till round 4 at least.

He underwent surgery for broken thumb. Could miss Tigers game. It's one of the games I can get to so would be good to win it!

Yep, I’m not convinced we push to resign him unless under 800k to be fair.

Makasini is a different character and Benji would have learnt a lot from the Galvin situation. Benji gave Galvin too much pump up and Galvin was completely selfish.

Given the round 2 start they’d still be doing preseason fitness. I wouldn’t be surprised if older players are a bit slow until round 2. Benji mentioned they’ll pull back on fitness at round 1. He’s probably playing within himself a bit too so he doesn’t get injured.

Won’t be long though, and it will apply pressure on his contract.

Didn’t have his best game today. He has some competition now.

Agree - I want him there, but I think we have better options than last year if he gets injured.

Even if Patrick Herbert just comes in and is solid defensively, we have enough strike power elsewhere. Naden's biggest issue was his brain explosions and defensive reads. If Herbert gets that right we're ahead. I personally wouldn't be playing Makasini at right centre for now. It's one of the...

Yes, he's had bad luck with injuries but if he can get through that and be consistent he'll be a good centre.

He’s a reserve grader. Unlikely to play much first grade unless serious injuries.

Saw him at the shops a few weeks back, he’s enormous.

I think it’s the right choice.

I reckon Attard will be ready next year.

I don't think it's an issue if Bula goes. Once again, if he doesn't want to be here then fine. There's plenty of talented players coming through. From what we've seen of Attard and Brookes, in the right environment they'll develop into good first-graders. Also, the sooner we get Moses out of our...
