OFFICIAL Starford To’a #253

It'll be a cold day in hell with a pig flying overhead when a player manager provides any favours for the Wests Tigers.

He certainly has talent, though your middle paragraph has pretty well consistently shown to be a huge issue since Starford arrived. His contract extension never made much sense, possibly a choice verging on being negligent from areas of the club's medical and management systems that approved it.
Or do the players tell porkies when being assessed?

I was one of Starford’s bigger fans a couple of seasons back when he had plenty of critiques.
Too many half hearted games have really turned me off him, but let’s hope he comes out tonight and shows us all that he is back to somewhere close to his best.

A regular on the WT Podcast Forum, Rusty, has spoken to To'a about the injury and it was a partial rupture of the tricep muscle apparently.
Makes sense then 8-12 weeks with rest vs 6-8 months with surgery. Also depends how much the tear is I understand less then 50% usually rest and recovery

who plays centre if he is out ?
Herbert most likely or, less likely, Makasini moved in and Skelton on wing. Re Toa, what an absolute crock, and already his extension is looking like wasted cash. I'm actually a fan of his because, when fit and motivated, he can be a weapon but, overall, he is far too inconsistent and injury prone.
