That is a terrible team.

Seems a very sensible approach. I knew a friend of my older cousin who went to gaol for drug possession and he was a (brief) but very positive mentor for me. I wouldn't say I was ever in danger of really going off the rails but I did do a lot of petty stupid things, testing the boundaries, stuff...

I'm trying not to read any WT media right now (outside the forum) cos I want to have some mental balance in my life, but a thought. Benji might have suspected that Adam's style might mean we don't get to see the best of Javon, who is a second receiver and needs someone to pass to him. Luai did...

Question I have is who leaked this? AD or the club? (there was a brief few months where we weren't leaking).

And Webster tried to sign him for the Warriors as well. Another good coach. So he must have something they see.

I don't claim to be an expert ( as I start commenting like I am one, lol) but I think a lot of this was in a whole package of investment into PNG as part of a defence strategy to curtail China. Wasn't that long ago that Cook Islands did a deal to allow Chinese military to have a base there, and...

I have plenty of mates who grew up on Central Coast of NSW (which is much closer to Sydney) and just say Sydney was too busy for them. They didn't hate it, but just missed the lifestyle they could have outside the big smoke. My work is based here, but every time I'm up the coast at the beach I...

Woodsie out of retirement for one last go around!

Great philosophy Leck. They ran their guts out, so was very proud of them. But he didn't want to hear any of that!

Random thought. If you get the chance to watch the BBC drama 'Dear England', I highly recommend. It's a documentary-drama about Gareth Southgate and his career as English Manager. Really well done.

I saw a video where someone explained the Azteca is 2 and 1/2 times higher in altitude than the highest point in the UK. Will be a huge physical effort for them. (that said I don't know how many Mexican players consistently play at very high altitudes either, in MLS etc).

I love the classics. Thank you

That Harry Kane goal was such a goal.

Thanks Leck. They got further than the club ever had, but disappointing. My son didn't talk on the long drive home. And has told me he never wants to talk about the game. Ever. So it wasn't 'laughing and joking at the end of the game' vibe but more of a Robbie Farah stewing on loss for three...

Thanks Susie. Heartbreaking loss. 1-0!! In the pouring rain.

Not saying it is going to happen but Shuster was hyped up at a very young age. Sometimes experiencing what life is like after football (or the thing you wanted to do with your life) can be a powerful wake up call. His future is in his own hands, which is how I bet any athlete wants it to be.

Not World Cup but my son plays this afternoon in the semi final of the U21s State Cup. His first semi final (playing for 14 years!). (I'll have to check updates on the Tigers Game). Wish him luck!

Good point Enz. I haven't wanted to weigh into the Izzy stuff before. I'm not an expert by any stretch. Perhaps if he had softened his views in any way eg my beliefs about this are firm and well known, but I live in a pluralistic society that allows gay marriage, so I can understand if others...

I have to guess that the club see Solo as a back replacement now, that he is playing mainly in the centres and wing.

Yeah and it wasn't the era of the 'small mobile prop'. It was the era of Petero and Steve Price.
