LIVE GAME Round 27 v Panthers

Yep all of those. And the back line spread with no lead runners and no chance of hitting a back rower.

LIVE GAME Round 27 v Panthers

Our plays are that predictable in attack, I can pick what we’re going to do and to make it even worse it’s done in slow motion.

LIVE GAME Round 27 v Panthers

You don’t expect to beat Penrith but you have to lift and make it hard for them. We just aren’t coached well enough to do that.

Samuela lazy there and no idea what Saukuru was doing.

3 restarts in a row was a sin bin a few games ago. Regardless we are outclassed.

Unless a quality young 7 becomes avalable (Katoa, Sanders etc.), I would leave the halves as is. I'd be focused on experienced defensive second rowers for depth (OK with Frizell for a year) and young backs that have serious speed (at least as fast as Averillo). The Titans just signed the...

We don’t need to sign a 5/8. We have 3 at the club already, let’s see how they go. Almost every other position needs strengthening before 6.

Averillo is a good centre, but a very average 6 or 1.

Solo is averaging a try a game too. Hooker is not the place you need a prolific try scorer. The top teams don’t allow the 9 the space to run. Distribution and defence far more important. TDS was the last junior I wanted us to lose but we could never have run with both him and Haywood. We would...

I think Ethan Roberts needs to be converted to a middle. Too slow for the edge IMO. Back row is also short. Sukkar has done okay but a lot of the time when Samuela or KPP are out we’ve moved Sione there who is only a middle player.

    OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

I don’t really care that he’s gone to PNG after our game. He’s here maybe for one more game and then he’s gone.

Disappointed we’re losing Kit. Bit of a concussion history and has issues with fitness, but in a couple of years I think he’ll be a consistent bench prop. Maybe we can get him back after a year at Perth.

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Yeah the Luai/Solo hole in defence is a massive target for every team and was the difference between winning and losing. Luai is trying to defend for Solo who is a passenger and himself and is not doing a good job at either. The Roosters would have smashed us if they worked that out too...

LIVE GAME Round 26 v Cowboys

Taylan was fine in the system. Maka is 19 so needs time to get there. Needs to play on the wing until he’s ready. Solo is 22 this year, is worse and probably doesn’t have the agility to be a back in the NRL. I’d let him go.

LIVE GAME Round 26 v Cowboys

2 takeaways from this game. Probably the worst refereeing I’ve seen since the soft whistle. Not the reason we lost though. Saukuru has no idea in defence. At least Makasini occasionally made a good tackle. The Cowboys scored 3 of their tries through or around him. I wouldn’t be re-signing...

OFFICIAL Pathways - KOE General Discussion

Schuster look short a run as expected but I thought there was enough there for a train and trial deal. Still has a slick passing game. Good cover if Doueihi goes.

Worked once with Scott Prince and hasn’t worked since. Bulldogs seem to be trying the same with Galvin.
