Rugby League Guru is literally the last person i would listen to when it comes to young guns. The guy thought Tallyn Da Silva was a fullback when he debuted, never heard of Tavana until this pre season and thinks Makasini played all his junior football on the wing. Credit to the bloke, hes...

Im all for Seyfarth dropping out of the 17, but i think Roberts based on his form last year is overrated on the forum. Watched him a few times over the last two years and he regressed unfortunately (at the Roosters). Early rounds last year he was 18th man from the Roosters NRL team and was...

Don’t think he will go to the Dragons. A much more likely scenario would be him triggering the last year of his contract here in 2027 and going to PNG as a multi million dollar marquee in 2028 with Ayoub. It wouldn’t be the worst outcome for us, gives the club 18 months to get a closer look at...

Webster has much more leeway, hes not deperate for jobs and players. He is a smart operator, he wont take Moses scraps, he looks to develop internally. Under Webster, the warriors have made less external signings than any other club. Fisher Harris and RTS are the only notables and they were due...

The three coaches managed by I.Moses are Seibold, Payton and Flanagan... Look how the clubs have been going and their rosters. In the last 3 years those are the clubs that have taken on I.Moses deadweight players: Brooks, Lodge, Talau, Aaron Woods (Manly), Bateman, Valamei (Cowboys), Kyle...

Even on a cheap deal, play him in cup if need be. Terrell and Taylan much more likely to re-sign

He’s in, Latu is also in given that Bunty is playing NSW Cup.

Some news around that Tino Tavana is to debut with Skelton dropping out

I reckon Barnett leaving is a blessing in disguise for the Warriors given how Jackson Ford has developed and currently playing. A younger, more athletic version of Barnett on much less money. He pairs well with JFH and they have good young middles on the bench like Vaimauga and Stowers-Smith...

RTS signed that deal after coming back from a multi-million rugby deal. He is also much older and been told he won't be re-signed by the Warriors. I highly doubt his next contract is anything above 450k given his age

Exactly, To'a is basically a placeholder for Makasini until he's ready to play centre week in week out which I assume would happen sometime next year. Signing Xerri would just block that and stifle Makasini, or result in Xerri AND To'a being in cup chewing up about 1mil in cap space. Happy to...

Brent Read just said on radio that the Tigers are not interested in Xerri. The club is happy with its outside backs and don’t want to block Makasinis long term path in the centres. The link was only made because he and Benji share the same manager. He also mentioned that the Tigers are looking...

Much prefer RTS on a cheap deal over Xerri. Can cover fullback, wing and centre.

Read and Rocco mentioned on Radio today he’s on 500k+ plus. Wouldn’t mind if it was just for this year and this year only. 2027 centre pairing should be May and Makasini. That 500k would be better spent elsewhere imo

I don’t see the value in signing Xerri when the long term goal should be May and Makisini in the centres permanently from next year. I’d prefer a winger with Skelton and To’a as depth.

Gus' success is the biggest myth in Rugby League. Like you mentioned, the Roosters, Penrith and Warriors all had their success after Gus left. Those clubs struggled for success while Gus was there because gets way to involved in the day to day management and coaching of the time. Look at the...

3 - Luai 2 - Samuela 1 - Skelton (was massive coming our own end. 220m and 70 post contact in 65mins)

Makasini's manager is Tartak who also manages the Fainus so it would have been released by his side given the article is about both his players. That is another reason why re-signing Sione is very under-estimated. It helps and all but ensures we keep Samuela and Latu long term. With those boys...

He might, but i expect there would be some clauses if he did

It doesn't, it gets him and his client more money... Thats all Moses cares about, he could care less about his players mindset.
