Yes B, noticed this in the KOE thread, even in his 1st grade appearances he hasn't been a standout, but held his own.

Benji and Richo have done an amazing job with this roster and clearing out the deadwood/mediocrity.

There is seriously not one player except for minimum-wage players like Craig, Saukuru, Hope, Bunty, Mason that isn't pulling their weight.
Sukkar is ready for grade.
Even Seyfarts is looking good now he is used properly.

Bring in a high quality centre and lock maybe....

Sukkar gets a little bit better each season. He is going great on the right edge in Cup so far this season, solid solid solid.

Harsh, but true.
Jake has been a great player, but I think due to always putting his body on the line and playing above his weight, that combined with all his head knocks have caught up with him and his body no longer allows him to function well enough to play like he once did.
Sad to see for someone who appears to be a real genuine good bloke.
As of now Charlie Murray is a far superior 13 and he can’t even get on our top 19.

Jake hasn't been a viable 13 since 2020. I think he still walks into this Manly side given their lack of forwards but he should be a 30 minute front rower off the bench, not a big minute lock.

Sukkar goes good . Wouldn’t want to lose him. He’s young and been going welll this season. He’s ready for firsts but the way our pack is
going he’s not getting a run soon

Wouldn't be in too much of a rush to get rid of Tony Sukkar, I think he could develop into a reasonable player over the next season or two.

As others have alluded to, Sukkar has been very good in all 3 of our NSW Cup games this season and looks a much improved player.
I wouldn’t be writing Will Craig off either, he’s been breaking plenty of tackles and looks strong and fast. His defence and catching high balls are a concern, but he could improve in these areas.

Wouldn't be in too much of a rush to get rid of Tony Sukkar, I think he could develop into a reasonable player over the next season or two.

I was speaking with a young person today about him the kid i spoke with went to school with Tony said he is a very nice person who loves the Tigers and dominated junior football

Only player I'd look to add for 2026 would be Tyrone May if he wanted to come back to Australia.

Adds depth at #13, #6, #3/4.

He basically replaces Bird.

Even on a cheap deal, play him in cup if need be. Terrell and Taylan much more likely to re-sign

On Sukkar we need to remember he is only 21, last year he could have been playing Jersey Flegg. For a forward to be playing nrl and being ok at 20 was great. He looks a much better cup player this yr then he was last yr

I saw Jake's headgear rolling around on the ground at least twice.

I missed it, saw the first few sets with boos but that’s about it

It’s way worse than that. He’s filled thier junior teams with players as well. With seibold gone it won’t change though . McDonnell is still there.

I acknowledged it in another thread.

Good running game, shit passing game including the pass to Tavana which I have to give the young bloke credit for taking because plenty would not have taken that to score the try.

Just my opinion though.

The pass to Tavana was definitely a bit too high, however, I believe it was a deliberate lofted pass, so Tavana could catch up to the play.

Webster has much more leeway, hes not deperate for jobs and players. He is a smart operator, he wont take Moses scraps, he looks to develop internally. Under Webster, the warriors have made less external signings than any other club. Fisher Harris and RTS are the only notables and they were due to other circumstances.

Barnett, Ford, Erin Clark and Metcalfe are the other 4 and all of those guys were unwanted and Webster personally identified them. Look at all four of them now...

I have said this and will continue to say this, if something were to happen to Benji and i could pick any coach to take over the WT long term, my first choice would be Andrew Webster, and i will die on that hill. Andrew Webster is everything the rugby league media pretend Ciraldo is.

The player who said to me two years ago that he was glad Webster is finally getting the credit he deserves instead of Ciraldo taking all the credit at Penrith as assistant was a Penrith origin player and he still is an origin player and I posted that in.
