Nothing to see here, just Isaac Moses using another one of his clients (Flanno and Dragons) to get a higher price. In fact this probably means the deal is close and Moses is trying to squeeze the last penny out of the club or get certain options in

If he’s secured a multi year deal and spot in the 17, then good on him. Something he probably wasn’t going to get here. He’s got KPP and Samuela in front of him, with Godinet taking up that first second rower up in 2027. Sukkar and Roberts may also be pushing for spots depending on their...

He would be silly not to be open to it, or any option. All players say this kind of thing to maximise contract value. He is going to be a hot commodity in 2027 regardless if its union or league. All he really said is that it is an option and even mentioned that his passion is Rugby League. For...

Hes Cup depth, will only play when Madden or Andrews are pushed up into first grade.

Yes, I trust rookies who are more talented and have been playing and training with the team the last two years over a guy who hasn't touched a ball in 3 years until recently.

Herbert hasn't played an NRL game in over 3 years. He shouldn't even be in the conversation to start this round and shouldn't have been given a 2 year contract.

Taylan trained at right centre today, Masi at left centre and Luke at left wing.

Never understood why so many had them going so well this year. Their roster is not any better than last year, in fact it is probably worse. They will struggle to get out of their own end with smaller wingers and will also struggle to make metres further up the field. Of their four main...

He can still come back earlier if Parra agree to release him to another team. Parra just need to agree to the compensation (player swap). Some team will get desperate during the season and offer a player swap that Parra will take.

Absolutely, teams like Penrith and Melbourne can afford to be top heavy because their elite players are the best in their position and the game (and play in key positions). They also get quality out of their bottom end for two different reasons. Melbourne - Bellamy is a genius at getting the...

That was the point I was trying to make, with the new TV deal and new teams. Probably could have explained it better. 2023 wasnt meant to be a specific example or percentage, more the mindset that was around what figures meant back then and even the 3-5 years prior (2020 or 2021 would have been...

I think the issue is that people really don't understand what the Cap is these days and just how much salaries have changed so quickly in the last 5 years. Ive spoken to someone at another club about this a few times and how its structured by teams over a 1-5 year period. Gone are the days...

I believe he said Dally M Halfback of the year. Same award Brooks won.

He will probably end up with a similar frame to Briton Nikora, about 185. However that suits his play style as he is a crash ball player and is very very strong. The game is different now and its almost better having those compact forwards who are powerful and have a big motor. Usually with...

He is 184-185cm. He is also 18 so he hasnt even finished growing. For context, Isaiah Papali'i is 182cm... Our fans are the worst at jumping the gun on 18-20 year olds and rookies in general. Good or bad. Over hyping off a couple performances and writing them off after 1 error. Just be...

Both, played mainly second row in SG Ball for the Roosters but moved into the middle for the back end of ball and Flegg

I wouldn’t be looking to debut CTM this year. It’s fine for backs and dynamic edge players to debut at 18,19 but middle are a completely different case. Last thing you want is a young prop coming in and getting dominated by fully grown experience NRL players and losing confidence. Other than...

One of the main points I took from this game is that we need to get our contracts, particularly our top 30 right. Madden, Makasini, Sione Fainu, Javon Andrews and Kit all looked like and played like top 30 players and were in our top 5 or 6 performers (as they should be). The concern is that...

Keon was on 700k and this will certainly mean this is Codys last year at Souths as he is off-contract. They are going to be very top heavy. If he was looking to go to a Sydney club, I for one am glad its Souths and not the Roosters, Dogs or Parra.

You can deep dive into and look at the numbers, worth, analytics and current landscape with two new teams. But as a fan, it really comes down to whether or not you would prefer a 28-31 year old solid, proven first grader who you know can do a job and fill a specific role OR a mid tier junior...
