Its a 3 week plan of attack for this team will test our depth. I would have selected AD at fullback, Madden at halfback with Turuva staying on the wing. Sione Fainu to start ag hooker replaced by Latu Fainu.

In order of priority Tigers have to resign Sam Fainu, Bula, Terell May, Taylan May, Makasini, Turuva, Latu Fainu, Fonua Pole. We don't have many high priced players outside of Luai however, this will change. The wisdom of letting TDS and Galvin go is making more sense as time goes by. The only...

The squad is solid now and moving forward. We have a long list that needs to be upgraded and resigned for 2027. Sam Fainu, Latu Fainu, Terell May, Taylan May, Bula, Turuva. We need to strengthen the back up hooker and right centre.

When the PM of the country greets you on arrival its already done.

Even me a Luai fan can see we paid overs and rightfully so to help Benji a rookie coach and attract players and raise standards. Getting out of a 1.2m a year contract for a then 31 years early old five eighth is good business. The club has to manage this well and strengthen other positions and...

The hip drop is a joke it was brought in for the third man in dropping weight on a player held by others. Under the rules he’s guilty and has loading. With no Korisau we have to get Madden into the team. Its left field but Luai to 9.

To quote the great Kerry Packer ‘you only get one alan bond in your lifetime’ We wont be the only team impacted by an Australian Government funded geopolitical based NRL expansion. Luai is the perfect face of the franchise for PNG. He will he 31 and sign a retirement deal which will set up...

To be clear Luai leaving in 28 doesnt make us better. Projecting Latu or even Madden being better players is unfair on them its highly unlikely. Freeing up 1.2m however helps retain Pole, Mays, Fainus, Bula etc. Penrith have been able to regenerate on the run. Id guess the club will know the...

This is what people forget. I did the same years ago in PNG. That was fir alot oess than 1.5m. It really sets you up. He will get a 3-4 year deal on 1.5m and theres massive corporate sponsorship in PNG. The face of the franchise there may get 1m on top. He will go for certain.

Lachie was more hype and potential over reality the dogs are starting to realise. I havent seen a half succeed with a poor kickibg and passing game.

Luai has been good for the Tigers and for Benj and im a fan of what he brings in and off the field. That said hes a better second fiddle and probably worth 900k. If he leaves and by 2028 the plan is to play Latu Fainu it would work out well. 5 year deal at 1.5m tax free you cant say no if the...

Every time I watch Turuva live you can see why he is so valuable. He is fearless charges at the line and uses footwork and balance to get fast play the balls. His finishing ability for a smaller winger is first class.

I think the grading is rough he hardly landed on his legs. I would be playing Latu Fainu at 9 in KOE as backup for Hope. Api is the one player we have no replacement for.

Just got back home from the 8th. Solid performance. Very professional by us sin bin aside it was dominant. Biggest improvement was Douihei floating left and Luai right. Great coaching been a while since I said that. 👏 have to watch the replay to se what happened but happy with that effort.

Benjis demeanour and leadership has impressed me this year. Win lose or draw he has the teams effort and unity at a high level.

This is true however, as a magpie fan completely support wests tigers if we don’t move there full time in the long term we are lacking an iq higher than room temperature.

Makes sense tbh but they need to scrap those rules. Hardly enough depth across the competition.

Watch the last game again he was bad. He had to be dropped. Toa is our second best centre I’m hardly confident in him tbh but it’s the right call. When fit last year he was on fire after injury he was bad. Fingers crossed he regains form. I don’t think Tino is fit but I agree.

I think he just decided to eat raw meat. Same size just angrier, runs and hits harder. He’s a machine.

Makasini had a good stint in first grade as an 18 year old. He will be back and firing. Has a lot to work on but has all the tools. It’s the right decision didn’t think Benji would make it tbh. Correct call.
