Drinkwater is a good ball player. As it is we might have a ballplaying 13 sooner rather than later, plus Api. Thats a lot of chefs. Running game, positional play, defence have to be first rate for the balance of our squad. A catch and pass and ability to draw are important, but don't need a...

Hard to compare this to players who break a playing contract. He was trying to break the conditions of the release. Nonetheless we should definitely think about ways to learn from it. I hate Parra and will not praise them so nothing to add

So technically he was one of the first to know...but anyway. This is the best thing he did in his career

2 Days and a whiteboard Figure out how to have a single WT squad even if the board insist they have to be called the lidcombe eye-picking swoopers (i like the local maggies by the way, dont get trigerred) This will half the costs of rep squads and put the rest of the money into the clubs in...

American prices off the charts, was there last week. Not keen to add a year to my mortgage to watch us in rd 1 while jet lagged, drunk and broke from the cas. Would happily triple my debt to buy a premiership, roosters style.

1. Penrith 2. Raiders 3. Roosters 4. Storm 5. Sharks (mechanical snd consistent, no threat to top 4) 6. Dolphins 7. Parra (l hate putting them here but look at their 2nd half of last year compared to the dogs) 8. Broncos (not going back to back. Teams only have to defend Walsh. Wheels fall off...

Agree 100% with Latu, Andrews and Madden around there are interesting options at 6 and 7

And dig into the defence as a ball player. Madden keeps getting whacked just as he passes, and the guys outside him are deep as you point out, and have more time. Doueihi takes those tackles because he's thinking run. That sums up their different strengths for me. Doueihi definitely more proven...

Good call on Murray, actually held his own against the starters too and looked stronger than last year

We'll know tomorrow if heath mason just scored in the last sevond to win the comp lol In all seriousness best thing about this preseason is thinking about 2027 2028. Andrews, the Fainus, Heywood, Makasini, the Mays....if we keep and promote the right ones there is a good mix of size, skill and...

Can find him a cactus somewhere

Have the line break bonus point Need a few offloads and tries

Even if we win this there isnt much to take from it. The structure of second choice spine looks better, which you cant read into. Bula was putrid but ill not worry until round 2. Twal, Luai, Maka, May and the Fainu boys look ready. For some reason any player with big hair gets fans...

Right side and Bula look dodgy Bunty runs good but a walrus could play the ball quicker

Happy to be patient, we have rushed too many guys over the years. Sink our swim is not the right development strategy for everyone.

If he is the kid I think he is, his 1st or 2nd carry last week was very concerning re low energy early in the game. Seemed to pick up from there

Sounds like he will go at some point and has done for a while. Can't resent a guy who is open and transparent and has shown loyalty until now. Please no more mod contract drama though lol

I doubt they even considered restrictions to Aus reps only but really this is only marginally less stupid than (for example) differentiation between Samoa and England which was clearly outdated. But does it make sense for poms to play origin? Or kiwis? To me no, unless they want to be...

Its a no brainer to try. Previous management would have offered him nrl captaincy and a million dollars, but starting humble to have him in the same broader system as his Brothers is good imo

This is the right answer. We can phase in one of the younger guys at our pace and reasses the offer for Bula based on facts at the end of this season. Unfortunately there is every indication things have been overcomplicated and I can kind of understand why the club wanted to lock him in. Things...
