Obviously didn't want to burn bridges. But not happy with the dictatorship of Benji and his mates. The new position - includes, inter alia; Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Club's coaching framework. Recruit, develop and support current and emerging...

What stood out to me was, the Knights wingers stayed on the wing and Bradman Best chased and caught the opp. centre every time. Best was 1st class shutting down Souths backline. The wingers could rely on him. Our wingers can't rely on our centres at all. Panic stations, no idea, not coached and...

Leck: Holbrook has taken Newcastle from last to the top eight. Great coaches are key, and he's proved this. That is our problem. Our coach still has his L plates on. [Great with everything except coaching] But let's start with some new assistant coaches. Keep the fans interested. Quote from...

You just nailed it You just listed all the shortcomings of our coaches. Who's to blame? Are they all below par? Benji did have the final say--and responsibility. I totally agree from the outside looking in. The bench selections and game management seemed very poor and was reflected in the...

But that's not Api's fault. The others need to catch up.

Think a good year away. But has the build and height we have craved for. Just needs to toughen up with longer minutes and experience. We just trialed Vaka Aho who went OK so let's not rush him.

Or Taylan just saying " pass me the F#*king ball"

I hope Roberts would be a potential lock with off loads, but appears to be a bit slow for an edge backrower.

Maybe with Luai, Doueihi, Hunt going or gone things have changed since Richo left?

A quote from Kade7 earlier this month. "I have said it before, but I’ll say it again, we have some $$$ to spend"

And what makes you think this 32yr old reserve grader, journey man will plug that gap?

That's about what I expected. So many people on here bag Maddens defence. Or are they just sheep following a previous comment. His defence stacks up with our 2026 heros IMO. A lot more tackles than Doueihi but less efficient because Doueihi's arm grabs or him not really in a position to make a...

Madden is contracted with WT for 2027

Thanks, BWG, love your opinions of the lower grade players who we don't often get to see.

I just hope Benji opens his eyes a bit more and goes with his gut feeling and not on what they are paid.

Jarvon is 20 in December. Latu 21 now [around an 18-month gap].

He could be the lock we're searching for?

I agree, a lot not shown so far. But I think he was improving with each outing. Up to him now [mentally] if he wants to knuckle down and make a good living from the NRL or just fade away with memories.

I would love to see Maddens defensive stats. Even compared to Luai's. He seems to do a lot of defensive work to me. And still game manages.

I would like him to put on some weight and be our lock.
