WE SHOULD CHALLENGE

they are so inconsistent with set restarts.

We are bad but not as bad we use to be. Have a good afternoon fellas, I’m going for a walk

They had so many set restarts, the guys are scared to tackle now. You could see the hesitation from our players

Agree with you. Tanah Boyd is off contract though but will most likely stay with NZ. Hence why people are saying Metcalf will leave

Well they do have Mitch Woods coming through, but Gus has said on his podcast he does not really believe in blooding youngsters in a poor team because it is unfair on them. Woods is also apparently more of a running half, so I am not even sure he fixes the problem anyway.

The issue with Ciraldo and Gus is that they have already done so much tinkering, and it has left them in a worse position. If they keep making changes and continue losing, it only makes them look like bigger idiots The problem now is that any adjustment to the spine creates another issue. If...

Now, we just need to beat Melbourne and watch the eels lose. Then it’s another awesome weekend.

My gut instinct says Roosters will offer Makasini a massive deal. They love players like him and always have cap space ... somehow.

Going over their could also be a negotiation tactic but let me ask everyone on here a question. How much more would you need to get paid in your job to move to Port Moreseby? Per chatgpt: a “$1.2M player” in the NRL is realistically living on around $650k net per season, before lifestyle...

The reason he would remove them is that his contract would have been topped up. They could do that from 2028 when the new tv rights come into effect. Allowing us to have a competitive team and retaining players until then like Bula etc. But hey, what do I know ..

The one good thing about this, is that we will know by the end of the week with whats happening.

The whole thing about him retiring was weird. He was either all in on R360, or Bellamy told him he won't be starting fullback this year. It could be a combination of the both but he was always going to come back.

Gentle reminder this would not have been close to happening if HBG did not suddenly create instability and sack Richo.

Ricoh turned us around, and now I think about how long it will take for our board to turn us back to the wrong direction. My gut instinct says we have a couple good years ahead.

I think Latu should be given a chance at 9. If he’s as good as we think he can be, he will do the job for us and probably look a lot more dangerous in attack compared to Hope.

“They have Mitch Woods but” It will be interesting to see if ends up as the starting half back because Gus always rambles on about playing young players too early. In addition he seems against playing them in a team that isn’t going so well.

Jayden Sua (dogs winger) apparently has signed with Perth for 4 years.

It’s been a great weekend so far. Tigers - Win Dogs/Galvin - Lost Storm/Stefano - Lost Parra/Moses & TDS - Surely Lose?

On the NRL website it says Makasini is injured? Same with Air Tino https://www.nrl.com/casualty-ward/?competition=111&team=500023
