Only problem with that is that ex roosters players seem to automatically get a gig as a well paid part time coach for a few years after they retire.....obviously not a salary cap rort.

I believe DCE has a relationship with Latu and may be a good option for 1 year to help develop his game. Having said that if Latu is keen to jump in to first grade full time as the 7 next year than bringing DCE in may just be too disruptive.

Its such a horrible, depressing place. The food and beverage is awful, no restaurant operator can make it work and they have been through a few. The only thing that works are the pokies

The way i see it earlier in the year we had a bit of competition for spots in first grade and Benji was a bit more aggressive in dropping players. As the season wore on and the injuries began stacking up all that disappeared, and it was a matter of playing what he had available and to be fair...

Once Latu is back I would have him at 7 and Javon at 6, Luai left centre and AD right centre, Turuva right wing and Maka left wing. Before Latu is back I would play Jerome at 7 and Javon at 6. AD cannot be 7 he needs to either play right centre or 13 off the bench.

Absolutely huge deal for our major sponsor.....i wonder if this has any implication for their ongoing deal with us. Sometimes when these companies get too big they veer away from sponsoring individual teams and look for wider exposure. HSBC's local loan portfolio were acquired by Blackstone and...

Luai's ceiling at the club was perhaps improving standards (when he was commited) and reinforcing our left side defence. He has not been able to greatly improve on field performances nor has he been able to activate our left side attack. There are a multitude of reasons for this, however at its...

He is also playing injured, i never see him getting clean ball in any space...seems to cop hospital passes with the defence in his face. That left side attack always seems to be cramped in, i dont know if its Luai going too sideways or the general positioning of his outside men. The never seem...

The Sharks have Halligan coaching Nicho Hynes goal kicking this yr and the guy is on track to break the most consecutive successful kicks record if he gets 3 more...from El Masri who was also mentored/coached by Halligan...do we even have 1 specialist coach for anything? Sharks are poorer...

you don't see it in the footage, however AD completely switches off at second marker...yes the Api, Sione miss was bad, at least they made an effort however AD didn't even bother closing the middle.

The comment i read about him on a restricted training program makes me wonder whats going on with him, i watched him closely on the weekend and he does seem to be protecting his right side, he also came out of a tackle clutching his right shoulder/arm a couple of times on the weekend. I agree...

AD had Turuva and Bula with a 2 on 1 when he grubbered on the second. Another butchered try in a long list of butchered tries.

I agree with most of what you say, however there should be no way we bring Flannagan in. He is managed by Issac Moses and he proved at the Dragons that he cannot connect with this generation of players. I would prefer Brad Arthur to Flannagan and that's saying a lot. I think we need a career...

The reality is we will never go a full season with our first grade squad healthy, other teams seem to be able to handle having 2 or 3 depth players in firsts whereas we go to water immediately. My feeling is that we have struggled more with players playing injured and this has exacerbated the...

That was such a horrible performance, both tries were individual plays. Every time we grubbered there were no players chasing through and everytime there was a break there were no players backing up. AD massacred at least 3 certain tries and Luai can co cant seem to strip numbers on the left...

We cant beat a defender one on one across our whole team, when someone does poke their noses through there is nobody running thru on the chance a pass may get popped up.

That second try was all AD...left api out to dry. He was at second marker and basically just stood there as Samrani came back through the middle. I would have hooked him immediately for that. It was disgusting.

Nothing shits me more than players who say they don't watch any footy at home, and we have a few at the Tigers. How do you continue to develop if its not by watching how others play in your position or how they play in opposition to you.

NRL really needs to focus on Jnr development and incentivize clubs that develop jnr talent. I would say we only (across the NRL) really ever convert less than half of the talent available into quality first graders. One of the things I would love to see and have been banging on about for a while...

If we are relying on a rule change for when we concede a try to finally become competitive than we are at rock bottom.
